Slim Chickens is a casual restaurant in Waukee, offering both dine-in and drive-up service. Customers praise the delicious chicken, including wings, tenders, and sides like fries and fried pickles. The restaurant uses fresh ingredients, which may result in a slightly longer wait time. Slim Chickens also features a kid's menu and is known for its clean environment and friendly staff.
Customers particularly enjoy the Cayenne Chicken Sandwich FIRE and the juicy, not greasy, and perfectly cooked chicken tenders.
