“Get Roasted is easily one of my favorite local spots. Their blended drinks are top-notch; the raspberry white mocha is my personal go-to, rich and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness. My wife has her own signature order that I’ve memorized after countless trips—it’s that kind of place where you find your drink and never look back... unless they break out something seasonal or are experimenting with a new beverage, then I always love being a guinea pig. 😅

Beyond the drinks, I love the cozy, inviting atmosphere. The shelves of books give it an eclectic feel, and it’s one of the few coffee shops where I can truly focus and get work done for hours. Even though I’ve been able to do some work from home for over a year, I make a point to stop by regularly—it’s my productivity haven and caffeine fix all in one.“

“This coffee shop, which is part of the college campus, is open to the public and has some of the best coffee in town. Hours are limited in the summer (7:30 AM - 10:30 AM M-F), but very lengthy when the college is in session. In addition to coffee and espresso drinks, they always have smoothies, pastries, and snacks. During the school year, you can get a simple meal of soup and pre-made sandwiches as well. Nearly everything is prepared in the college kitchens, so quite fresh.“

“I'm a long time customer and love Scooter's coffee. Today I bought my usual mocha, but it came to me tasting of coffee and water. No milk. I went to the window and was met by an employee who was rude, rude, rude. She argued with me that if they made another, it would taste the same. Then she slammed the window in my face. To add insult to injury, I called 2 hr later and asked to talk with a manager...I told her my story and she didn't even offer my money back. If I were the owner of this franchise, I would be embarrassed.“

“During rush hour I forgot my burger and called the restaurant to let them know. Whoever answered the phone showed great customer service and told me they’d remake it right away if I was able to pick it up. And yes I sure did go get my Quarter Pounder!!“
