“The food was excellent.The staff on the other hand …… I witnessed a waitress named Mel berate the rest of the staff and threaten one of the ladies in the kitchen. Stating, “I will take care of you after work.” Extremely unprofessional behavior. Your clientele isn’t there for an episode of Jerry Springer.“

“We visited for the 1st time today for Easter buffet. It was all delicious and reasonably priced as well. Staff went above and beyond.. we have a granddaughter who is allergic to dairy. When I asked if chix strips and scrambled eggs had dairy they did but staff offered to have eggs made without! We also have an autistic grandson who only eats certain foods. He loves chicken strips but staff heard him saying "french fries" and offered to make him some. How kind! We will be back!!!“

“If you want a very good home cooked country breakfast then look no further than The Hungry Bear in Burlington, Iowa. The food here is absolutely delicious and made with genuine homemade ingredients. The flavor and seasoning in and on the food is absolutely amazing 👏. Oh and don't get me started on the portions of the food. They give you so much you will be taking leftovers home I can tell you that unless you're really hungry than you can probably handle the huge portions.
It's a nice little place tucked away in the downtown part of Burlington. The staff and waitress is very friendly and always checking in on you for a refill on your beverage and to make sure the food is good. Better get there early on the weekends because it does get busy but for good reasoning that food is something everyone wants. So go check it out you will enjoy each bite you take for sure.“
