“Just being in a cozy small dinner brought back memories of what I call the good ole days and even the bacon cheeseburger and fries that I ordered just took me back even more for it was so good. I haven't had a cheeseburger and fries that were that good in a very long time. I'll definitely be back and sample everything on their menu. Plus the conversations with the waitress and the cook was something else too. I felt like I've been a customer for a long time when I left. Today was the first time I was ever there 😂 I highly recommend this place.”

“If you want a very good home cooked country breakfast then look no further than The Hungry Bear in Burlington, Iowa. The food here is absolutely delicious and made with genuine homemade ingredients. The flavor and seasoning in and on the food is absolutely amazing 👏. Oh and don't get me started on the portions of the food. They give you so much you will be taking leftovers home I can tell you that unless you're really hungry than you can probably handle the huge portions.
It's a nice little place tucked away in the downtown part of Burlington. The staff and waitress is very friendly and always checking in on you for a refill on your beverage and to make sure the food is good. Better get there early on the weekends because it does get busy but for good reasoning that food is something everyone wants. So go check it out you will enjoy each bite you take for sure.”

“Was here this week and I pop in a couple times a month to meet outside of the office. We had our Christmas lunch at the Bean this last week. I love the variety of healthy food and the creative plates they serve. I have had many of their wraps, avocado toast, bowls, salads, veges and hummus, everything is delish! Serving sizes are nice and the sides are very healthy, lots of fresh fruit and vegetables in their menu! Now we cannot forget about their bakery items so good the oatmeal pie is a must if you haven't ever been there along with the banana cake and pumpkin bars. You won't be mad about any of the selection all will hit the spot!”
