Everyone on the staff I've met has been super friendly/attentive and the rotating selection's always got something good and interesting on tap. Great atmosphere, too.“

“I have had burgers in just about every state in the US, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Canada.... this was hands down the BEST BURGER I HAVE EVER HAD in my life. we ordered the Hangover with some added fig jam and it was Devine! The sweetest of the jam paired perfectly with the saltiness of the burger, egg, and bacon. Ahhhhhmazing! We have had the fries and tots as well, very good! Staff is always excellent and environment is lovely and cozy. Highly recommend.“

Both my wife and I were floored by how good the food was. I grew up in the restaurant industry, with my German Uncle being an executive Chef for the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite National Park, and I wish Uncle Bertram was still alive today to check this place out. “I had not been up to Hilltop Station for a few years and decided to stop in for dinner last Saturday night. It was a huge treat for us and our friends! We sat outside on the patio, a little chilly because it was getting late. But the staff (busy as they were) came out and turned on the patio heaters. Most of us had the salad and pizza buffet (great deal by the way). The pizza was the best I have had anywhere in the area. The salad bar was clean, fresh and well stocked. Beer selection was spot on, something for everyone. I will be going back a lot more frequently; it’s a great change up from all of the places we typically go to in Boise. I also had the pleasure of meeting Eric and Tate, great guys! They seemed passionate about the restaurant, making sure we were comfortable and enjoying the food. “Just one false fact... Litre House was the original bar consisting of only the horseshoe bartop and 6 outer bar tables. The private round table and the construction crew table right of the front door. That was it. Hooligans has only been Hooligans since around 2000 not 1983“

I'm sure if patrons weren't smoking directly outside the door, so smoke gets sucked in when the door is open, it wouldn't smell bad but it got a little strong for us. Overall a good experience though! Prices were good as well, most items were around $11-13“
