“This place is an unknown gem here in the gem state. Yes it looks a bit rough but the waitresses were very attentive. You order from the white board and it has its specials. On Fridays they have this massive crab meat mound with some large shrimp in it. Is 45.00 and it will feed two people. If is a hidden gem.“

“Very cute place, has a good vibe, refreshingly unpretentious for downtown. Good food, not a huge menu but if you’re just going for oysters there’s a pretty good variety of options. You won’t get very private seating but it is comfortable enough for dinner with friends.“

Drinks were hit and miss. We had 4 different drinks amongst our group, and only cared for one of them. They were beautiful drinks but fell short in terms of flavor. Our group felt that they were off balanaced.

Service was okay but slower

“I am probably the pickiest eater in Boise. Today is my third time at Sam’s to try the new menu. The first 2 times I got the chicken club sandwich, both times it was amazing. Today I tried the chicken French dip and they did not disappoint 😋😋.“

From clear and detailed contracts to thoughtful and proactive pre-gig communication — to phenomenal promotion. Plus - the work of the entire production crew on night of is outstanding— it’s a lot of work to coordinate sound, lighting, door and other production elements for an 8-person band! And the staff is always friendly and accommodating to the crowd. Heritage hosts some of our funnest gigs and we appreciate them very much!“

“The Cactus was my first stop 30 years ago on my 21st birthday and has never disappointed since. Reasonably priced drinks and reasonably nice people/staff. Best dive bar in Boise, imho. No food. Except for the pumpkin pie eating contest!!!

“I went to the Atlas this weekend visiting family, it was awesome. Jake was great and Nick was maybe the best bartender I have ever met, lately when i go to a craft cocktail bar, "mixologist's" are kind of boring and lack personality. Nick on the other hand is a real bartender, he was absolutely the funniest bartender I have ever met, it was like me and my girlfriend were getting a free stand up comedy show and fantastic drinks! If you wanna have a super fun time go in on a Saturday and chat with those guys! Also if you are visiting from California like i was, make sure to tip really well, bartenders in Idaho make 5$ an hour plus tips, vs where i am from they get 20-25$ + tips.“

“During our roadtrip we stopped over in Boise and got onto our handy dandy GT Caddy app, where we came across this gem. From the moment my husband and I walked through the door we were treated like family. The locals were very friendly. We were invited to play GT with the local boys and had a wonderful time. The server was great, yhe beer was cold. If you like a standard no fluff backwoods bar this is the place for you!We did not have any food, so I can't rate that.“

“Lived all over the US and this is one of my top 3 bars I've ever entered. Attentive and friendly staff, I've been on a first name basis with all the bartenders since a week after first walking in the door. Recently moved to boise and this was the first and only place I was given a warm welcome. Every negative reviewer was probably acting weird and disrespectful loll. Well priced drinks as well“

“Stopped in with a couple friends last night and we were immediately greeted by the bartender.

There were not many people here when we first walked in, but it filled up as the night went on. I liked the light or lack of lighting. It was darker, but perfect for a cocktail and conversation.

The bartenders were friendly and attentive. I had a few Dark Side cocktails and one my friends ordered a few Old Fashion's and my other friend had a drink called The Hot One.

I loved that they had something other than sports on the TV's and chill vibe music playing.“

“Ordered a gluten free “Wise Guy” pizza for take out. As a gluten free person, pizza is one of those things that’s really hit or miss. Most of the time the crust is gummy and floppy. Not the case here! They are able to get a crispy dough, it’s very thin and delicious. I live out of state so sadly can’t make this my regular place but I highly recommend.

“I met some friends at dirty little roddys on Thursday. Was my first time in there. The vibe was good for being Thursday and everyone inside was having fun. I was impressed with how smooth everything was being run from the door to the bar and the bull. Carena was my bartender and she did a phenomenal job. My drinks were always full and good. “My Wife & I visited yesterday before our flight home to California! The service & ambiance were great, the food was good. My Wife enjoyed the Turkey/Brie sandwich with pesto & it was amazing (after I stole a bite). My SRF burger wasn't as great as I had hoped. I'M NOT SAYING IT WAS BAD! After a little investigation I discovered that the meat is SRF, but also preformed patties that are not made in house. The place was buzzing & we had a great time! My only suggestion is if you're going to use great meat for the burgers you should consider mixing your spices & hand form the patties yourself. It's a burger! Gotta make it super special for $20. That being said....I would 100% visit again ?“
