“I was so lucky to get to try this place out during my visit to Boise. My uncle who’s lived in Japan is a complete sushi iceberg, and we go nowhere else. I had to have the Godzilla road now I had many other roles and my cousin, to the number of different items the service was incredible!!! The spicy dragon roll was my favorite, but Godzilla you have to try!!! OH NOOOO I SAY YOU HAVE TO GO AND TRY GODZILLA!!“

“Such quick and friendly service. Perfect location in downtown. Laid back atmosphere with ample outside sitting. Sushi was so good, tasted fresh and was absolutely delicious. So much so I ate a 10 piece all to myself which is a feat for a small lady like me! Server was such a delight she was super bubbly and sweet! Will come again!“

“I introduced my college-aged daughter to Sakana on Vista a few weeks ago because I LOVE it and she’d never been here. Imagine our delight when we were served our maki rolls on the deluxe wooden sushi boat, complete with dry-ice “steam” and frozen flowers ! It was a spectacular presentation to our superb dining experience! Thank you so much for singling us out for this special exquisite treat! You created yet another lifelong customer with your surprise spoiling! Thanks so much!“

“I wish I knew her name, but we had the most amazing server. Fantastic service and so nice. She ran us down when we walked out of the restaurant because we forgot our food. She then went back to the restaurant and labeled them and put them in a to go back and came and found us. Absolutely made my day, so sweet!“

“Their food is good. Its not a Michelin star restaurant but its homemade and humble. Ran by the dynamic husband & wife duo. I love this place. I come here too much! 😅
Love their Spicy Tuna Roll. That crunch he adds to the tuna filling is good. Especially dipped into a mixture of soy sauce & wasabi.
Their lunch specials from 11am-230pm are inexpensive and filling. Especially with their egg flower soup that they offer for FREE with your lunch special purchase.
They definitely TRY to put utmost love and care into what they do. So whether you have a bad experience or good experience make sure to always come back for we are human, sinners, and imperfect.
Thank-You Season Wok!! 💚💚

“Happy Teriyaki ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On 1/25/23, I had to work late and stopped at Happy Teriyaki on Federal Way in Boise for take-out. This was my first time visiting this business. I was a bit skeptical because I knew it was a franchise with 10 Idaho locations, but it was on my way back to the office and I always like to try new things. I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the Happy Noodles with Chicken ($12.95), which is Chicken on a bed of Yakisoba Noodles. Other protein options are beef or pork. I was drawn to this dish because Yakisoba isn’t on many menus in Idaho. In fact, the first time I ever had it was before it was on any local menus, and I had to make it myself from scratch. The service was excellenot. My order came out fast. It was steaming hot and I could tell from the heft of the bag that it was generously portioned. It made two meals for me. I like that it had a large portion of chicken. The noodles were deliciously, seasoned and perfectly cooked. This is my kind of “fast food.” My five star review is based solely on this dish because it’s the only one I’ve tried. It was excellent! And it’s the best Yakisoba I’ve had in Boise to date. Highly Recommended!!!“

“Yoi Tomo Sushi and Grill isn’t just a restaurant,it’s an arena. An all-you-can-eat battle of wills between man and salmon, and I came to win.
Their all-you-can-eat deal is amazing, as long as you show up with a plan, a purpose, and possibly a small support group. The rule is simple: if you leave more than three pieces on the plate, they charge you five bucks. Honestly, that’s fair. Sushi abandonment should be a crime anyway.
So I dug deep. I toughed it out like a sushi warrior destined for greatness. I had enough salmon nigiri to make an entire grizzly bear question its life choices, and then I finished strong with the Anger Management Roll, because dessert should be raw fish wrapped in rice and existential decisions.
If I had paid full price for everything I ate, my bill would have been 90 bucks. Instead, I walked out victorious, only slightly dizzy, and spiritually transformed.
Important survival tip: You must must must get on the waitlist via Yelp. Do not show up like a walk-in amateur. We arrived at 5 PM on a Saturday, were already 13th on the waitlist, and still waited about 45 minutes. But it was incredibly well run and organized. These people conduct the waitlist like air traffic control during the Super Bowl. Respect.
If you have an appetite (or unresolved emotional issues you’d like to eat your way through), this place is heaven. If not, go order a salad somewhere else and let the rest of us work.“
