“This was our first visit to Salty Bear, just outside the typical season for the area. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality and flavor of the food. The portions were generous, larger than expected, but everything we ordered was excellent. The staff were friendly, the tables were spacious enough for a family, and we appreciated the option of both indoor and outdoor seating. We’ll definitely be back.”

“We highly recommend the burger, barn in Bear Lake, Utah!! Their place is clean and accommodating with lots of tables and umbrellas. The food is exceptional, and the portions are large and for the price, the quantity and the taste are very reasonable!!! Everything is cooked fresh and so for a little wait it was so good !!! “LaBeau’s is definitely one of the best restaurants in town. Despite a hoard of customers, we got our order taken very quickly and efficiently. And within 5-6 minutes, my food was out. First off, the Pastrami Burger is divine!! Perfect balance of toppings, and it tasted fresh and hot. The raspberry shake was good, but I think Merlin’s down the street does it better. They have a spacious outdoor dining area with umbrellas, so our dining experience was very pleasant. If you haven’t tried LaBeau’s already, I definitely recommend giving it a shot.”

“They have a good double basin cheese burger. Fries were also good but a bit salty. The service was great, they don’t have a place to refill drinks but the girl was nice at the window and refilled it whenever we needed. It can get really busy here. We went in the later afternoon and it wasn’t too bad. It can also be a challenge to find parking, I would park a couple blocks away and then walk.”

“Eat here! Located at the north end of Bear Lake. Worth the drive up if you're not just passing by. Cute little blue place (same color as the lake water). You walk up and place your order. The menu is mainly burgers and sides (tater tots, onion rings, fries). They also have delicious shakes. I got huckleberry and it was yummy and made with real huckleberries. Even had a little teddy graham bear stuck in it - cute touch. We got the Bear Cave burger. It was really a good burger. I enjoyed the fresh veggies on it and the bun was delicious. He got the tater tots and enjoy those. I've got the onion rings and they are some of the best onion rings I've ever had. Now let's move onto the fry sauce. For those of you not from Utah, fry sauce is usually just a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise and maybe a splash of lemon juice or vinegar. This fry sauce is the best fry sauce I've ever had. It is handmade locally and it is so good. That paired with the onion rings made my visit this day extraordinary. You may think I'm being dramatic about the combination of the onion rings and the fry sauce, but I am not. Lol. Met the owner and she's a doll. So friendly and nice. They brought the order out to the picnic table well where we were sitting. What a great place to grab a bite at Bear Lake!”
