“Sugar Momma is the kind of place that instantly lifts the energy of Downtown Ontario 🍭✨

From the moment you walk in, you’re met with fun, flavor, and a whole lot of personality. It’s vibrant, welcoming, and packed with treats that bring out the kid in all of us while still feeling like a must-stop destination for locals and visitors alike.

As part of the Depot District, we love seeing spaces like Sugar Momma creating moments, sparking joy, and giving people another reason to spend time downtown. It’s more than sweets, it’s an experience that adds to the heartbeat of our community.

Trust us… you’re going to want to stop in.“

Armida's Cakes Bakery •
588 SE 3rd St, Ontario - 2.3 miles

“Stopped by Armida's Cakes while passing through Ontario and honestly this place deserves way more attention than it gets. From the moment you walk in, it feels like one of those true local spots that people keep coming back to because the quality speaks for itself. Everything looked fresh and homemade instead of mass produced, and you could immediately tell a lot of care goes into what they make. The cakes and pastries were incredible and tasted like the kind of desserts you remember long after the trip is over. Nothing tasted overly artificial or overly sweet like a lot of bakery places nowadays. You can tell they use quality ingredients and actually care about flavor. The atmosphere was simple, welcoming, and authentic which honestly made the experience even better. The staff was also extremely friendly and made the whole place feel warm and inviting instead of rushed. Ontario has a few bakery options around town, but this one really stood out to me as a hidden gem. Definitely a place I would go out of my way to stop at again next time I am anywhere near the area.“
