“My go to bakery for sour dough bread. Love the Asiago Cheese sour dough loaf and their pumpkin chocolate chip loaf is super good. Goes great with a cup of coffee. You can have sandwiches prepared for meals there and they look like great options but I haven’t tried any yet. Love getting their fresh bread.”
“In my opinion, this is not a bakery and is a stretch to call it a cafe in the traditional sense. The people working here were nice. This is a place to get fancy pastries and cookies. The coffee is good. The tarts are really good and beautifully crafted, but for $8.25 each, we couldn't justify ever purchasing another. The cookies are tiny(about the size of a donut hole)and over $2 each. The decor is very modern and chic with many paintings hanging with prices attached. All reasonably priced. It's a cool spot overall. We were looking for a bakery that has fresh baked breads and pastries. This is definitely not the place to come for that. We were happy to support a local business, so we did buy several items, but we were not impressed by anything but the tart. It's just not our type of place, but we are glad this place exists for those who do.”
“This store and restaurant is a hidden gem. The store stocks a variety of authentic ingredients and products, making it a go-to for home cooks looking for exotic spices. The restaurant, however, truly shines with its diverse menu of Middle Eastern delicacies, from shawarma to falafel. The flavors are rich and satisfying, making it a delightful culinary journey for anyone craving Middle Eastern cuisine.”
“As a wedding planner, Flour Child was amazing to work with! She was responsive via email and timely for day-of delivery. The cake was also beautiful and very delicious! All the guests absolutely loved it that I spoke to. Thank you so much!Photo by Maggie Grace Photography.”
“We ordered a coconut cream pie and the strawberry cream pie for our VP's birthday. Both were a hit. Our VP himself said the coconut cream pie reminded him of the one his Mother used to make. Are y'all taking Turkey feast orders yet? I'm definitely never going anywhere else for pie.”
“*Sorry in advance for the bad picture*I had a birthday cake made with a Jaws (the movie) theme. She absolutely nailed the decoration but was also quick to formulate a custom cake for someone without a sweet tooth. This buttery savory cake was perfect in size too, and was the best price quoted to me compared to many other places. She was also spot on with communication and I felt confident booking her out almost a month in advance.”
“Decadent and delicious desserts and pastries. I was surprised with the cost as they’re even more expensive than Seattle, but clearly that doesn’t bother the people around here as they sell out daily (so go early). One of the more impressive offerings I’ve seen in a while. Their pastries are pieces of art.”
“Family work there. I really enjoyed the Batards? i ate almost 5 of them suckers on a few day roadtrip. I was supposed to share when returning to Albany.... there wasnt much left thanks to me. Best sourdough ? ill say more later, however the Holiday special bread ive been thinking of lately has the golden raisens in it....maybe ill have to trip up there soon!! Its been waaay to long”
“Hands down the best sourdough in town! Certified English Muffins cannot be beat! Be sure to grab some to go on your way out. They are the perfect base for the best breakfast sandwiches in town. Every sandwich I've had is amazing. Because the kitchen is small and they make everything from scratch be prepared to wait, if you can order ahead online to save yourself time.”
“Looking for a good sandwich and soup in a nicely decorated heavenly smelling atmosphere look no further! I stumbled on this place while killing time while my truck was getting worked on. The cafe side wasn't open yet but the friendly staff allowed me to sit and read until I could order my food (40 mins!). It's a really great place! I highly recommend!”
“Some good bargains. Lots of 5 for and 3 for. Bread is "day-old" but still good for toast and sandwiches. The store has a "loyalty" hole punch card, where you can collect 7 punches free products. They have daily specials and military discount Wednesdays.Only problem is the customer restrooms are always "out of order" and have been since 2020! (Hmmmm! Interesting timing.....COVID 19?!!??!)”
“I Love this place! Cookies are always so good and the atmosphere is great! I usually know what I want for my order and when i was there the other day there was a male blonde teenager who took my order and he was super respectful and friendly towards me! He made sure to get my order right and asked questions to make sure I was getting what I wanted! Twisted sugar is doing it right with their employees! 5 stars. I’ll keep coming back”
“This place really puts the Flying M in Gem State. I haven’t felt this good since last time someone massaged my prostate! Will and Tara hooked it up with the dankest mocha, egg bites, and a morning roll. I even saw Larry Craig there, right down the street from the Capitol. That toe-tapping’ SOB…..”
