“After researching restaurants in the local Coeur D'Alene area, we came upon this Italian restaurant which caught our eye with Chef Angelo's passion for organic, local farm sourcing and many positive reviews... We seek out unique and high-quality, intimate Italian venues both local and when we travel... Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated at a semi-private quiet table. Donna, our server, was a ray of sunshine and a chalice of radiant light! Seriously... with her warm smile and soulful embracing, beautiful demeanor, we immediately knew we arrived exactly where we needed to be... We decided on a simple chianti on the glass pour list, which was a wonderfully generous pour for both of us... and the wine was perfect. We began our culinary bliss with the vegetable antipasto which included wonderfully Grilled and Marinated Vegetables, Olives and Fresh Mozzarella (was not expecting the BEST eggplant we have ever had on a starter plate like this...) which led my wife to ordering the eggplant parmesan. After we placed our entree orders, Donna kindly brought us a small taste of the scrumptious silky butternut squash soup which was topped with delicately crisped pepitas. We devoured the soup and wished we had ordered a giant bowl... but the fresh baked focaccia had arrived and more courses were on the way... Our entrees arrived and were a feast for the eyes... and they tasted just as delicious! The eggplant parmesan was crisp and light as a cloud... sided with a perfectly al dente bucatini noodle and fresh, bright red sauce... again, THE BEST eggplant my wife has ever enjoyed. Now... let us talk about the meatballs... I got the bucatini with meatballs... the sauce, delectable... the meatballs... are you sitting down?? Lean, pillow soft, hearty, herby, perfect mouthfeel, flavorful, insatiably delightful!Atmosphere was ma and pop taste of Italy experience... The entirety provided for a very romantic experience which was to pay off later that evening... but we digress...We can't recommend this restaurant enough... for the food, the experience and the beautiful Donna... Be sure to ask to sit in her section... And then enjoy YOUR romantic evening after your visit... Salud!“
“The food was absolutely great. My wife and I split a Cajon chicken pizza and a Caruso's medetranian salad. We couldn't finish the food and it was delicious. The tables were not cleaned off, and we cleaned our own table. The staff were very friendly and helpful with our order. Highly recommend this place.“
“Friendly service and takeout order was right on time! We ordered a chicken bacon ranch pizza and cheese sticks. There was NO mozzarella on our cheese sticks, just wayyyyy too much parmesan. They were unenjoyable to eat. The pizza was pretty good, but it also had too much of some sort of seasoning on it and was a little overcooked. The taste was not comparable to other Westside pizza locations we had tried. It’s important to note that this wasn’t bad pizza, just not what I expected. However, I do wish the cheese sticks had mozzarella as the pictures show. Willing to give them another try!“
“We chose Westside Pizza for a post basketball season pizza party. It turned out to be the perfect place. The staff was very accommodating to our celebration party. They had the pizza ready for us and a big table set up for us. The kids enjoyed playing the free retro arcade games and unlimited soda. One of the kids was gluten free and they had GF options on the menu that were tasty. They allowed us to bring in a Costco cake and even offered a serving spatula when we had forgotten ours. The pizza was tasty and hit the spot for all the parents and kids alike. Nice staff, good food, and great atmosphere. “If you are looking for great wood fired pizza, this is your spot! The interior is very thoughtfully put together. We had a Cesar salad and it was one of the best I’ve had. I know that sounds weird because it’s just a salad but my partner and I were impressed. We shared a Charlo pizza and the flavor was incredible. The crust was fluffy and expertly made. I spent over ten years working in different pizza establishments around the area. Point being, they have one of the best in the area hands down!“

“We'll make this a staple when in the area. The side veggies were delicious and a good starter. My picky eater kids devoured the sausage/kale soup with me. The lasagna and chicken piccata was also excellent. The herbed butter on fresh baked bread was nice and helpful for getting leftover lasagna sauce off the plate which was pretty clean once we were done with it. 2 large gender neutral bathrooms were gorgeous and wait staff was friendly. I wish the coloring came with more than 2 crayons- if you're bringing a kid here bring your own for better entertainment.Kid-friendliness: The kids menu to color can't with only 2 crayons which didn't work well.“
