“It can be difficult to get your wife to go to a place called “Fat Clarence’s Pub and Grub.” After about an hour of going over how the timing and logistics worked the best for all the breakfast places on our driving route, she begrudgingly relented.

She remained skeptical all the morning as we drove, continued to be skeptical when we went in, and her face dropped after her first bite. She looked up, said that she was sorry she was wrong, and these were the best hash browns she had ever eaten.

I like the fact that the restaurant is clean and well kept. This always goes a long way for me.

I picked something that sounded good but was not a typical choice for me... womp womp.... got a pasta sauce that was not good. Pasta was cooked right and the chicken on it was great. However, they sold me a velveeta-like sauce advertised as four-cheese. Disappointed in my choice. That being said, I dont remember being let down by a steak or a burger here, ever.

Beers are cold. Service is good. Stick with your go-to meals and you won't be sad.“

“Lunch today couldn’t have been better. The servers are super friendly, at least 3 came over to check on us including the kitchen manager. Food was not only spot on but quick as well. There are a lot of deals in town for burgers, but not one of them come with this kind of service. I’ve been a manager for years and clearly whoever’s running this place knows what they are doing.
