Pioneer Saloon Reviews
The best prime rib (by far) that we’ve ever had. Wonderful service. The atmosphere is incredible!
One of the best restaurants I’ve been to for fascinating atmosphere and good food. Steak is the way to go and baked potato awesome. The fish was good but the steak was better. For those who love salads, they have it all. Great bar as well. If you want to get a saloon, old west experience I can’t imagine any place better. From historic firearms, hunting trophies and mounted fish, this is a must stop for anyone visiting the area.
Great atmosphere, great service, and great super food. Highly recommend!

The Pioneer Saloon offers a fascinating atmosphere and delicious food, with steak being a top recommendation, accompanied by an awesome baked potato. The restaurant also features a great bar, a wide selection of salads, and historic decorations including firearms, hunting trophies, and mounted fish. The atmosphere is lively and fun, with friendly and attentive service that makes guests feel welcome. Visitors often enjoy sitting at the bar, although space is limited and they may need to be comfortable with their neighbors. The decor adds to the unique experience, with hunting trophies and mounted fish enhancing the historic feel. The food is consistently good, and the baked potato remains a popular side. The restaurant is known for its great atmosphere and delicious meals, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. While they don’t take reservations and can fill up quickly, the wait is often worth it for the enjoyable dining experience and lively environment. The menu includes a variety of options, though some reviews mention that cocktails can be overpriced and shrimp cocktail watery, so trying the shrimp boil might be a better choice. Overall, The Pioneer Saloon offers a memorable dining experience with a historic touch and friendly service.
