“Talk about an accommodating resort!! Apparently I showed up on the only weekend this year that was "busy". The guy behind the bar abolsolutely slayed his job! Friendly and kept him composure under the added stress. The pizza was amazing. Clean bathrooms. If you haven't been to Snowbasin or Sun Vally. You just need to see the lodges in person to really believe how beautiful they really are! Well beyond 5* resort.Vegetarian options: The curry, salads, and potatoes are great!Parking: It's a bit of a walk to get the the resort (5-8 minutes with gear). The shuttles are always running though!Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible entrances, Elevators, and shuttles.“
“This place is all pizza and atmosphere reminiscent of a college pizza joint. It is small, cozy warm and the staff is pleasant and efficient. There was a lot of take out orders which kept the cashier busy and was good for business. The space is limited so the tables are small but fit 4 just fine.I am still astounded by the tip request of 30% in the area.“
“Stopped by after a day of skiing and ordered takeout. I order calzones often, but this one was probably the best one I’ve ever had. Ingredients were fresh, marinara sauce was excellent, and it was cooked perfectly. The staff was friendly, and my order was ready ahead of time. I will plan to visit every time I come back to Ketchum.“
“Beautiful, peaceful, delicious. This place was wonderfully decorated with the surrounding sun valley mall. The ambiance was great. It wasn't too crowded. The beer and wine selection was great and the service was impeccable. We had the ravioli and garlic cheese. BRead to start and finished with entrees of chicken picatta and chicken marsala. This is the place to come for sports. We sat at the bar and watched some football without all the loudness of bars on main St. Great place to unwind and spend time with friends or family.“
“One of our favorite things is to find a " mom & pop" restaurant that cares about the entire experience and then nails the execution. At Cookbook, you are greeted by the owners, who seat you, answer your questions about their restaurant/menu, then take your order, etc. Tonight, this was followed by a great cup of sausage and kale soup, bison ragu with brocholini for me, squash bolognese for my wife, then the seven layer cake which we shared. All of these (except the cake) were piping hot and made with fresh produce and proteins. As for the cake, it was wonderful and the perfect way to end a perfect dining experience. The family atmosphere reminded me of meals I've had in small family run places in Ferringdon(outside London), Milan, Grenoble, Angier, Seville, Toledo, Madrid, and Augsburg, etc... Felt old school European, including the pride of ownership and the simple ingredients prepared well. If you find yourself in Sun Valley area, give this place a go, but might want to make a reservation as Cookbook is pretty small and filled up quickly tonight.Vegetarian options: Couple of options.“
