Tonight my husband and I, along with two of our friends, had our date nights here. We each had our own tables. During dinner my friends texted me saying, “This is one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We love this place and our waiter!”

Now onto our food — I ordered the calamari, and it was beautifully fried, crisp, and golden. It came with two sauces: the spicy one was divine, and the marinara gravy was absolutely fabulous. As an Italian New Yorker, I haven’t found gravy that good since moving here. It was a true taste of home.

I also ordered the linguine with clam sauce. The flavor was outstanding — juicy, briny, full of depth. The clam broth was so delicious my waiter even brought me a soup spoon because I couldn’t stop drinking it! The Caesar salad had the best homemade dressing — fresh and full of flavor.

Tonight was one of the best nights of my life. Truly spectacular. ✨

“I lived in New England for a long time and also parts of New York for a couple years, 42nd Street slices in downtown was great . I also had pizza from the oldest pizza joint in Connecticut. When I moved to Idaho I was worried about finding a NY style pizza that not only looked the part but tasted great as well......FUGET ABOUT IT, no need to look any further ! Jonny Bronx is like eating at home.“

“I go to Dutch Bros in Nampa almost every morning and get the same drink; Americano with cream and caramel. Today it tasted off and I didn’t notice until I was on my way to work in meridian. I arrived to work early so decided to go to Dutch Bros on ustick and Eagle rd and they replaced it at no extra cost, and with the best customer service, asking me to try it before leaving. I love my Dutch family! Thank you!“

“We were traveling back to Washington State and needed to find a place that might be able to accommodate my liquid diet restrictions due to upcoming surgery. And they did! They were freaking awesome and strained their fabulous tomato soup for me! It was so yummy and a had a pleasant kick too! Great atmosphere and staff! I even got some to go!!

“I came in early on a Sunday morning. Service was quick and the Americano I ordered was PERFECT. We are a celiac/Gluten Fee Family and the staff was very knowledgeable and made sure our food came marked GF. Earing out is difficult for us but this restaurant made it easy. We are not local but will definitely stop here on our way thru town next time. My only suggestion would be to know what the ingredients are in the GF pancakes as sometimes folks have allergies besides gluten. We are so grateful that you have choices for family like ours.“

“Ok 2nd time at Rudy's in Meridian and service both times was amazing, food was hot , fast and good and priced reasonably. Definitely worth trying...I personally love the Rueben, perfect mix of tart sauerkraut and thousand island dressing on marbled Rye, fries are crisp, Onion rings are perfectly cooked. Crispy wings are great.“

He not only handled it kindly, he said I’ll just go make that. “Update ** We’ve come back to visit twice since opening and the food is just as delicious! However, the protein portions are embarrassingly small. My review would drop to 3 stars if not for the high quality which I feel like bumps it to 4 starts. We got the burrito one of the times for my kids and there were about 2 tablespoons of the shredded pork and the edges of the tortilla were rock hard. I’m also disappointed about the upcharge for yakisoba noodle base because it bumps up the bowls into sit-down restaurant pricing. It was about $45 for 3 dishes which is too steep for a fast casual restaurant in my opinion, especially with small protein portions. If price isn’t as big of a concern then I still recommend this place because you can tell how fresh everything is! And I still
love the green curry sauce!**

I can’t wait to make this a regular stop. It’s the healthy / chipotle version of Panda and I’m here for it!!! I’ve tried both the sesame and green curry sauces and they were great. Love all the fresh veggie options. The guacamole is good quality. Also who knew corn was good on an Asian bowl? Don’t knock it til you try it. The protein portion is hit or miss depending on who’s behind the counter is my only constructive criticism. I also don’t recommend the burrito Zao’s way (with the rice noodles - too wet) instead opt for rice as the base. The workers were all so friendly!“

“I had a great experience at Big Al’s thanks to our server, Logan. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout our visit. Drinks stayed full, food came out fast, and he checked in just the right amount without being overbearing. It’s clear he really cares about giving great service and making customers feel welcome.“

One of the guys, I didn't get his name, was so kind he gave me a discount on my coffee when i was short money, i don't want him to get in any trouble, on the contrary! Such kindness deserves a raise or a healthy bonus! When I came in today, I wanted to try something new. I'm a regular so they see me quite often, but it took me awhile to decide what new drink I'd like to try. Despite being obviously shortstaffed, poor things I've been there, were so patient with me and offered suggestions! I ended up with one of their suggestions, but not after they offered a sample of it to see if I'd like it! I missed their names as well, but they were just so nice they deserve a raise or something! I love coming here before work, especially right before a hard shift, these guys are so wonderful, I hope they start taking tips from cards or get bigger tip jars because they deserve it!“

“I have been eating here recently due to being in the area for work. Food is ok for fast food, the shakes are very good! I enjoy that they bring your food to your table. Every time I have eaten there the fries have been freshly cooked and hot which is something I enjoy very much. If I had any complaints at all it would be that it's attached to a gas station but that's kinda knit picking. It just messes with the atmosphere a bit.“
