“I go to Star, ID once a year to visit family, and we always stop to get my favorite cookies. I absolutely love the sea salt peanut butter one, and sea salt white chocolate oatmeal one. My mother-in-law comes to see us a couple of times a year. She already knows to not show up without cookies. She had to bring a bunch while I pregnant because I craved them. So these cookies are 100/10! I absolutely love them so very much!“

“My wife and I have always felt welcome from the first time we came thru the door in 2020 till now. I love the aspect that they are cool with well behaved Canines. Its' a homey kind of feel, reasonable prices on the beer. The addition of the patio and new outside bar give the freedom of relaxing in the sun. They do not have a kitchen,. but are cool with you bringing in your own or buy some on site when the food Vendors visit. New to the area or you have been here for twenty years, they always treat you like family.“

“I had a lovely time, and the staff were very kind and helpful, checking on me often and answering any questions I had. It was very busy for the holidays but that did not stop the kind server who assisted me with my order on helping and checking on me, so very big kudos to her. The food was good, and it has plenty of vegan and healthy options for those who may want to eat out with friends.“

“A friendly neighborhood brewery with great craft suds, professional service, casual atmosphere, and some live jams! Visited prior to an airport pickup and was totally impressed. The beer was tasty and the folks were super friendly. Bonus was the blues jam going on. Dog friendly which was nice cause it was a hot summer afternoon and they even gave Mrs. Mildred a big bowl of ice water. The lady working the tap was the best and chatted about our common interests in motorcycling. Even spoke to the fella in the office and the guy in the brewery operation and all of em were very welcoming to this stranger from 2500 miles away which was much appreciated. Unique neighborhood and parked in the shade under the overpass.“

Tonight my husband and I, along with two of our friends, had our date nights here. We each had our own tables. During dinner my friends texted me saying, “This is one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We love this place and our waiter!”

Now onto our food — I ordered the calamari, and it was beautifully fried, crisp, and golden. It came with two sauces: the spicy one was divine, and the marinara gravy was absolutely fabulous. As an Italian New Yorker, I haven’t found gravy that good since moving here. It was a true taste of home.

I also ordered the linguine with clam sauce. The flavor was outstanding — juicy, briny, full of depth. The clam broth was so delicious my waiter even brought me a soup spoon because I couldn’t stop drinking it! The Caesar salad had the best homemade dressing — fresh and full of flavor.

Tonight was one of the best nights of my life. Truly spectacular. ✨

The road work is a bit of a mess, but it’s a small price to pay to support a local business that has been an Eagle staple since 2013. The restaurant, located directly in the heart of the construction zone in front of the Old State Saloon, is a prime example of a business persevering through difficult times. Stepping inside, the aroma of slow-smoked barbecue instantly makes you forget the detours and road closures outside. We wanted to show our support and encourage others to do the same. If you're deciding where to eat this week or weekend, please make the effort to visit them. “I go to Dutch Bros in Nampa almost every morning and get the same drink; Americano with cream and caramel. Today it tasted off and I didn’t notice until I was on my way to work in meridian. I arrived to work early so decided to go to Dutch Bros on ustick and Eagle rd and they replaced it at no extra cost, and with the best customer service, asking me to try it before leaving. I love my Dutch family! Thank you!“

“We were traveling back to Washington State and needed to find a place that might be able to accommodate my liquid diet restrictions due to upcoming surgery. And they did! They were freaking awesome and strained their fabulous tomato soup for me! It was so yummy and a had a pleasant kick too! Great atmosphere and staff! I even got some to go!!

“I came in early on a Sunday morning. Service was quick and the Americano I ordered was PERFECT. We are a celiac/Gluten Fee Family and the staff was very knowledgeable and made sure our food came marked GF. Earing out is difficult for us but this restaurant made it easy. We are not local but will definitely stop here on our way thru town next time. My only suggestion would be to know what the ingredients are in the GF pancakes as sometimes folks have allergies besides gluten. We are so grateful that you have choices for family like ours.“
