I'm trying not to be too harsh because this is in no way shape or form what I want from these dishes, it seems like they executed what they wanted extremely well. Meat is very tender well cooked, just really lacking seasoning or any sort of authenticity that I'm familiar with.

Again presentation was great, service was great, the restaurant was very clean. There's absolutely nothing really wrong with this place, as long as you're looking for Midwest mom Mexican food. In that regard they have done an excellent job.

There are other Mexican spots in town that are more to my liking, so this establishment probably has a solid foothold on an exact style of food.

I will say they are generous with the fresh garlic in the fresh salsas, which I do generally like a heavy punch a garlic.

“Costa Vida has been consistently on the ball and conscientious with my wife’s celiac. We mention GF and the immediate response is “allergy or preference”, then extra steps to ensure things are as contamination free as humanly possible.
Bre was especially helpful during our last visit, and made sure our food was top notch. I did have delays with my meal, but she made sure I knew my options and the wait for steak.

“We don’t have Taco John’s where I live now, but where I grew up we had it. Couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take my daughter to Taco John’s while we were in Twin Falls last week. My chicken taco salad was so good! Eating the Potato Olés brought me back to my childhood.“

white rice, cheese, veggies, white rice…yes it’s in that order and on the side salsa, sour cream, guacamole….(yes I know I said rice 2x I know I’m weird) and yes I got 2 bowls of the same thing lol…I wanted my meal ready to go for tomorrow don’t judge me…😣
In short I learned/realized today I’m pretty much Sheldon from the tv series “The Big Band Theory” if you know you know ;)

They're so good dont even bother with other places if you want a for sure delicious Mexican food for good prices go to Roberto's and give them a good tip because the food is bomb. Listen, if its you and a friend i recommend the Monster burrito , ita really really long and absolutely delicious with quality ingredients, you can tell when you are eating the quality of the food.

“We come to this location a lot and it's consistently good and most of the staff is friendly even when it's super busy. Sometimes if it's busy the tables can be a little dirty, but usually I see staff come out to clean tables the first chance they get.“

I was about to order at the kiosk, but the associate at the counter was so engaging that I ordered the old-fashioned way directly from him. Food was top-notch as well.
