“1st time trying this place in Des Plaines and I must say that the bumper fries, bumper chicago style hotdog, chicken tenders with the honey mustard sauce which was great paired together and the bumper burger was all amazing 😋 👌 Definitely a must try🙌 I also like that it's all Halal meat so it's never frozen always fresh ❤️“

“Sorry to say that I was disappointed. The gyros were good but the patty melt was horrible. The hamburger tasted frozen, dried and tasteless. Fries were good as well. The other disappointment was they forgot my grandsons Hotdog, which was at the top of the receipt. I will probably try again since I paid for hotdog and will have to go back“
“I've been doing Business in the area since 1990. Home plate has been since 1991 and there is never been a better hotdog period. I drive by every day during the season and want to stop every time! today was a good day and I got to stop making it a great day! thanks Homeplate for being the best and being local.“

“The food is amazing!! I had the southwest gyro and fried mushrooms. The southwest gyro nice and warm, goof amount of sauce on it and the fried mushrooms were warm and delicious. I also had some fries and they give you a generous amount. Really worth the price for the food.“

“Every store has their own hours . The week before Christmas and 5 pm the store is CLOSED !!! RIDICULOUS and why do the Mall hours show until 8pm ?“
