“We decided to come since it was one of the few boba tea shops nearby to Carol Stream. Inside it looked clean and organized. I got the brown sugar lava milk with coconut pudding. (The one on the left). We didn’t sit down and drink since it looked like the other tables were occupied. Prices were reasonable for medium and large. I didn’t see an option but you can request to have it less sweet like 50%. I think at 100% it was too sugary for me. Still, quality is good and the service was very friendly. Parking was easy since it’s in a shared parking lot.“

“The best boba place in the area! Brightly lit, exceptionally friendly staff, and some of the best tapioca pearls around. The decor is akin to a modern Japanese boba house. They even have a gotchapon and a cotton candy vending machine. This is a must for all boba lovers!“

“This has got to be one of the best places to get Boba Tea in the Chicago area. They have a lot of different selections of drinks from brown sugar Boba all the way to Vietnamese iced coffee. You're looking at $7 a drink like the other Boba Tea shops, but they make their drinks better. You even get a reusable glass cup to use again, and get a 10% discount on your next visit. That's a really nice concept. I certainly would recommend Bearology over the other Boba tea shops. Reasonably priced drinks, reusable cups for next visit, and better tasting drinks.“

“Love this spot, I’ve gotten the Ube Matcha twice (50% sugar) and it’s been amazing each time. Love the sealed cans it comes in, and the sweet treats are nice too but the drinks definitely shine. I got the ube mochi donut, and matcha bao both were good but I likely wouldn’t get them again. Though there are plenty of other treats on the menu I want to try.“

“Went to pick up a sandwich next door at Firehouse, while waiting for it to be made I walked over to this MilkTea shop. First time having anything Boba, so I went in and had a few curious questions about the teas, drinks, extras ect. The cashier was super nice, answered all questions, I got the Chocolate Boba Milk Tea and I thought it was great. The tapioca was good too. The place is very clean, neat, the bar area was also tidy and well kept. I saw there was a screen off to the side where you can order in case there’s a bit of a line at the cashier which was nice. Will be coming back to get a smoothie or something different from the selections next time.“

“This past October marked the very first time trying here and was very pleased at the quality of the boba here.

We were getting ready to leave Mitsuwa and my older son naturally wanted bubble tea for dessert but the line for the boba store in the famed grocery store was backed up so I mentioned that we could explore elsewhere.

So glad we discovered this gem, the bubble tea is delicious here and my son always puts on a smile when he gets his Taro; that's the ONLY flavor he's ever drank since he was nearly 3 years old.

We don't live around this area but if ever wandering the area again, Ding Tea will be definitely be a go-to spot for quality boba!“

“Amazing gem in Bloomingdale. The menu has many choices including gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, lactose free, and for us carnivores. Drink menu has sake, handcrafted beer, wines, cocktails, bottled beer, teasing, bubble teas and more. We started with egg rolls and pancake scallion bites. They provide four sauces! My favorite is the chili oil, but there is also ginger, Wasabi and sweet sauce. All made in house. Entrees were sesame peanut noodles and Mongolian beef. So good. We will be back.“

“Voltage is the best bubble tea I have had in all of Chicagoland! I usually get bubble tea in the city, but this is far better than any place I have tried. They have quite an assortment of flavors (Honeydew! Peach! My faves and so rare to find!). The milk tea came perfectly cold with just enough ice to keep it cool (but not too much) as well as a generous amount of tapioca/boba! The tapioca balls were a wonderfully pleasant, squishy consistency- a tapioca texture unmatched by anywhere I’ve been before. We ordered 2 milk teas and were offered a free tea on our next order- which is very kind, considering bubble tea is expensive! At first my sister was skeptical about getting bubble tea from a fast food spot, but we are so glad we did! “This place is the only Japanese inspired bubble tea I have found in the county of Dupage and in the west suburbs of Chicago. From Hokkaido milk tea to the shokupan (swirl bread), they offer a variety of Japanese items to try. As someone who grew up in Japan I really appreciate that they have brought in drinks and food that remind me of some piece of home.

I recently noticed that they added jewelry accessories including some Sanrio character earrings. The earring variety may change.
