“I decided to come here since it was one of the places that closes late. We were the only customers when we walked in. Employee was friendly and she greeted us. Just to clarify, it was only one person doing everything. It seemed like after we ordered, that’s when people started coming in one after the other. Then there was a huge group that came in. The “slow service” I let it slide since she didn’t know there was going to be an inundation of customers pouring in. You know those clown cars where 20 clowns come out, yeah it seemed like that. I got the lychee milk tea with golden boba and an egg waffle with ice cream. I ordered 50% sugar. The drink itself was decent, not too sweet which I like. I do wish the golden boba was a little less chewy. They also didn’t have the tofu pudding that I wanted. Egg waffle was crispy, warm, and soft. The ice cream was Oreo. Other than that, they had an adequate amount of tables. That’s assuming you don’t have the clown cars with 20 kids coming out of it. Prices were fair. Place was clean when we first walked in, not sure about after we left.“
“Enjoyed experimenting a few teas on a fun outing with my family! We tried the Blueberry lemon slush (on the tart side) , Rose hip milk tea (tasty and wouldve been better with the popping bubble), mango milk tea (with mango jellies) which was my top fave!“
“I love supporting local businesses, and being a local to DP it was a must. We visit here on a weekly basis and have tried all the flavors. Oreo being my sons favorite, and the tropicals mine for sure ?Sometimes there is a gentleman that works with the owner is a heavy cigarette ? smoker “ smelled like Joe ? “Didn’t care much for the smell on him , but super friendly.“
“Simple unassuming place and just so so good!Service is very friendly and attentive. Food comes out pretty quick. Rice dishes come out faster than ramen bowls so be aware. Can't really go wrong with anything on the menu from teas to rice dishes to ramen. Everything we have tried has been absolutely delish. We have had as appetizer: the crab salad (has bits of apple for added crunch) , the bang bang shrimp , karaage, and crab Rangoon. Recommend them all.For dinner: we have sampled the spicy ramen (I picked spicy), tonkatsu pork and chicken ramen, the tantamen (ginger sesame broth), shoyu ramen and the beef shank ramen. Loved them all!I typically make sure there is an egg and bamboo in all my broth based ramens.i Like the added protein and texture they bring.I can only eat about half of a bowl and have enough for another meal the next day which is awesome.“
“I absolutely love this place! I can be here 2 times a week. The staff is amazing, and super friendly! They make their food with LOVE. Everything is so fresh and taste amazing. And the fruit teas are such a thirst quencher!! Recommended to everyone if they love good “
“The food is good but expensive. However, the sushi rice is usually just old white rice. If I was eating in restaurant, I would send my food back for what I actually ordered, but it's delivered so ?♀️The boba tea is actually even more expensive than listed, because you're required to choose a boba type for an extra $1+. I always order thru UberEats, and delivery is fast and my food is packed well.“
“I tried Strawberry Banana Smoothie with boba here. The Smoothie was so nice and fresh. My friend ordered regular milk tea and that was good as well.Tapioca is right at the average (KF tea got the best Tapiocas..) but as we don't have KF tea in Wheeling, I believe Kopa tea can be my go to.Dogs are allowed here - confirmed that with the store - and she even offered a pup's cup for my dog. The owner of this store is very kind and nice.Highly recommended local boba tea shop!“
“Excellent drinks, food, and service. I love that they will put the drinks in a personal cup to cut down on waste. Good prices too! Today I noticed that the menu now includes breakfast and lunch sandwiches, very exciting! I tried the egg and cheese sandwich and it was deliciousParking: Usually the 15-60 min spots right by the shop/train station are available, or there's street parking by Dotombori or Sugar Bowl“
“The proprietress is very kind, and all the guests remember it clearly. Pork ribs rice, small intestines wrapped in large intestines, crispy salted chicken, pearl milk, etc. are all nostalgic Taiwanese delicacies. I highly recommend everyone to take a trip to reminisce about the taste of hometown!“
“One of my favorite places in NW suburbs! ♥️Love everything about this coffee shop — the welcoming atmosphere, their smiling faces, tasty beverages & pastries ?If you live nearby, you have you stop by!If don’t — you miss a lot!“
“It was my third time there and they were very nice and helpful I’m glad to have a business with them , i highly recommend them for any boba question or products.I wish if I could give them more than five stars for Oliver , melissa and the front desk girls ????????“
“Stepping into Umbrella Tea House felt like entering a manga enthusiast's dream. The vibrant and eclectic decor, adorned with manga-related artwork and nods to Japanese pop culture, immediately set the tone for a fun and upbeat experience.Upon exploring the menu, we discovered an enticing selection of bubble teas, smoothies, and waffles, each offering a delightful blend of flavors and textures. Whether craving a refreshing bubble tea or a indulgent waffle, Umbrella Tea House had us covered. The seating arrangement was both practical and charming, with various sections to suit different moods. The cozy couch area invited relaxation and conversation, while the wooden benches under the cherry blossom trees created a picturesque setting for enjoying our treats.Overall, Umbrella Tea House proved to be more than just a tea shop; it was a destination where manga lovers and bubble tea enthusiasts alike could come together to enjoy delicious drinks, delectable snacks, and immersive surroundings. Whether you're in the mood for a quick pick-me-up or a leisurely hangout session, Umbrella Tea House is definitely worth a visit.“
“I’m telling you guys, this store waffle are so satisfying. The taste, the texture, the crunchy. Take this from a guy who doesn’t eat waffles. I was blown away. To the point I have to write a review cause whoever is coming to try must must try there waffle. I had the salted caramel and butter and dayummmm. SPIRIT LIFTED 5/5Parking: Right in front, 5 to 10 parking spots“
“Nothing but amazing things to say about this place. They are always friendly and all ingredients are fresh and delicious . The price of this location versus other location seems to be on the lower side and it is greatly appreciated, because three dollars more makes a difference and I just would not buy it! They not only put together crush ingredients, but the presentation is always at its best. I have become a regular there, which is not easy on my wallet, but worth it for my appetite and it’s healthy depending on what you got so if you love sushi and you can’t have Rice- get a bowl, no rice and voila!“
“There’s no better ice cream.Try a scoop of Zoreo with a scoop of Banana on a waffle cone - for the perfect ice cream coma ??You won’t regret it!(At least not for the first 20 mins or so)So yummy ?The staff is always friendly and owner always kind.“
“This place was phenomenal. We came here for Suhoor not knowing they were closed for dine in and were taking only to go orders. The owner saw us debating where we can go last minute and allowed us to dine in. They were really nice about it and accommodated for my whole big family. The food was delicious and came out pretty fast and the best part is they are zabiha halal! I'd definitely recommend this place to everyone.“
“I'm was surprised to find a Korean-style chicken place around here but so so happy. They expanded their menu too and if you haven't had CupBop yet, give it a shot! It's got a little of everything. Of course, if you come in and get their fried chicken every time, I think you'll be very happy all the same. And my girlfriend says that me introducing her to Korean Corndogs changed her life.“
“Delicious mochi donuts and good drinks, there is so much different flavors of donuts you must try. I have came here twice from Ohio just to eat it. The service is very good and polite. In summary the place is a very amazing place, it is very unique.“
“Releaf is inside Mitsuwa's food court area. They make the best matcha lattes ever. I ordered the matcha latte soy boba and I will have to say it was the best boba/matcha latte I have ever had!I am honestly very particular about getting an authentic strong matcha latte and they hit the spot plus perfect little tapioca pearls. I literally crave this all the time so I can't wait for the next time I can go. Highly recommend trying them! :)“

“Was in the area and had to make a stop back to Mochinut. The flavors this week looked really good. I love the texture and chewiness of these donuts. They are light and not overly sweet. We enjoyed the original glazed and churro at the store. My sister was expecting the glazed to be a sugar rush. But to her surprise it wasn't too sweet, but perfect! She had her first mochiball and loved the strawberry filling. Great little after noon treat to enjoy with hot tea on this frigid cold weekend!“
“This place was so good it was a little pricey but I understand why. The food and service was very good and it seemed very clean in there. I didn't expect for the ramen one to be so good but it was the best. Even the next day I heated it up in the microwave and it still tasted amazing.“
“Incredible customer service! Christine + Anthony were working today and gave me the full red carpet treatment (first time ever eating Mochinuts!). Mochnuts are an incredible novelty we just discovered! (Imagine a chewy donut). Highly recommend pairing food with the refreshers!! So as long as I'm in the area I'm probably going to be a weekly or bi-weekly return customer.“
“Amazing tasting drinks! I just happened to get pizza next door and my son wanted to try it and I'm an so happy we did because it was amazing and we just found our regular spot now lol, and the customer service was amazing and I love these mason jars! I definitely recommended to everyone to try this spot!“
“I must say, the wait was totally worth it! Not only is the menu perfect, but the drinks are also superbly produced, and the atmosphere makes me want to hang out there all day!Prices were considerably lower than I had anticipated, which is GREAT considering the state of the economy right now. I adored the customer service, which was kind and welcoming. The dining space on the front patio was a pleasant addition because the weather was excellent outside as well.I recommend.“
“this is actually the best boba place ever. from the fruit freeze to the to the protein freeze, they fr don’t miss on bro. and don’t even get me started on the customer service. the mfs working here get active!! they have my order ready within 10 seconds at times and they’re so nice fr. the employees are my bruddas fr i consider them family.“
“I went in and just got the boba tea and the waffle with ice cream and strawberriesThe atmosphere was great looks nice inside and out. But sadly, I did not have a chance to try the food but they do have a great verity on the menu. I plan on going back soon since the service was great!“
“We came here because this place is trending. But overall, it was just okay. Nothing special. The bao buns were overpriced in my opinion. The taste was okay, nothing special. The boba was decent but I've had better boba. It was just average. I've had better tasting boba.“
“I had been wanting to go to Kurimu since it's opening by the UIC campus. I had heard good things about it, and the kind of soft serve ice cream they serve reminded me of Japanese soft serve I had in Hong Kong and Singapore. After multiple openings, including the one in Schaumburg, I still didn't check it out until December 2023. My main reason to not go the Schaumburg (by the virtue of being closer to me) location was the price point. Their menu is good, but the items are on the pricey side. Upon reading a handful of reviews, the general consensus I got from them was that although it is pricey shop, the quality and taste of their offerings are definitely worth it to at least experience it once. On my visit, I ordered a scoop of Thai Ice Tea ice cream, a Strawberry Matcha Latte, and a Dalgona Coffee Milk Tea. The shop was inviting and clean. The menu options were laid out well, and the staff member working at that time was friendly and very helpful. You can place your order through a kiosk or give it to the staff member at the cash register. I took my deciding what I wanted as it was my first time at Kurimu. While I was there, the shop got busy, which is good, and therefore, ordering through the kiosk came in handy. The staff member was pretty fast. I didn't have to wait long to get my order. Also, the ice cream I ordered was not enough in stock, so the staff member informed me that they would give me another complimentary scoop of ice cream of the flavor of my choice. I also wanted to get soft-serve, but the flavors at the time were not of my interest. They rotate their soft-serve flavors every month, I was told. I liked what I had a lot. The Thai Ice Tea ice cream was so creamy and flavorful. Its flavor was very pronounced. The complimentary scoop I chose was that of Melon ice cream flavor, and it was delicious, as well. I also loved the Dalgona Coffee Milk Tea. I had not had it before.Kurimu was definitely a hit in my book. I liked everything I tried. Yes, it is on the pricey side, but it's well worth a visit as what is offered is of high quality and taste and is not just run of the mill stuff. Sure, I can not afford to go here as often as I would like to but a few visits here, and there would be a good way to check out the different offerings of Kurimu.“
“Excellent, fresh food. Love Chinese food and have had it in Chinatowns, downtown and suburbs. Ordered the Singapore noodle lunch special. Not always made well at other restaurants. But here the entire noodle dish was excellent. They did not skimp on shrimp, veg or eggs. The spice level was good and matched requested level. Good curry taste without overwhelming. The pork eggroll was also tasty as was the sweet dipping sauce. Even the ubiquitous fortune cookie was fresh.Only thing was the person who took my order said soup was included with take out. It wasn't. Oh, well. In line with most other places that offer soup for dine in only.Other than that try this place. It's really good IMO. They close early, at 8:30pm and are closed Tue.“
“This was the most amazing food! The service was amazing, the staff was so sweet. They were so thankful and gave us some extra food to try! It was such a cold long day, and this really was the perfect meal!Vegetarian options: They only had bone broth left at the end of the day when we visited, and they special made a small batch of vegetarian broth for my friend who could not have bone broth! They were so sweet and it was much appreciated!“
“Came here in the middle of the day during a weekday, so it was pretty empty. That also mean we got served very quickly. The store had a cute wall and seating along the wall, but no tables. So it might be a little awkward if you have a large group. The drinks were pretty good though, we got the brown sugar milk tea everything was decent. Definitely not the best boba I've had, but the pearls were decently chewy and the flavor was decently good. My friend enjoyed his smoothie as well. Overall a pretty solid boba place. I'd come back again.“
“I was so excited to take my son here. This has been my fav restaurant since the late 90s!The best Thai restaurant in Chicagoland. They have lots of meat free options. My personal favs are their spicy tofu & the spicy tom yum soup. It is SOOO DELICIOUS!!“
“We were visiting from out of town, and my kids love drinks with popping boba, and I love milk tea. The staff at Gravitea were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Plus the drinks were top notch! We loved the variety. I highly recommend the Klaw-tea specialty drink. It's delicious!“
“The ice cream is fantastic, the only downside is the service is kind of mid. They sometimes take forever because they’re always understaffed but the food does not disappoint! They always are asking to tip on their computer though which is super annoying considering they just stare you down while you are on the machine. All the menu items are diverse and I prefer the marshmallow, strawberry banana, and strawberry chocolate ice cream!! Also all their teamonades are super good!!! I prefer raspberry, peach, and lychee. They also sometimes add the actual fruit and a lemon piece into the drinks. The ambiance is kind of meh, it’s a very bright atmosphere but with empty and big spacing around the seats. Sometimes when it’s busy there’s not enough space to even enjoy your treat, but I love the ice cream and drinks! “
“I've always thought of this type of café being an innovative idea with the selection of drinks to kick back and just chill.Illy coffee is a relatively high end brand up there with the likes of Starbucks which IMHO I do prefer Illy, the bubble tea is pretty good here and I've never had a fruit smoothie just yet.One thing that's definitely a plus here is the fact that they're open very late, till midnight during the week and 1am on wknds.Overall the prices are still reasonable, service is on par, interior is kept clean/sanitized and Liquid Fusion is an ideal place to relax and enjoy a drink.“
“cozy atmosphere, nice little nooks to sip your chai while pondering the meaning of the universe. I ordered the hazelnut mocha and Belgian waffle. Yum. Service was slow af but that was perf lag in time to come to realization I’m not a drop in the ocean but the ocean in a drop ✌️“
“Good bubble Tea shop with myriad drinks, and bobas, and jellies. I love their Strawberry Matcha Latte, and Golden Pineapple Smoothie. They also have wide selection of Fruit Teas and Yakults that are delicious and colorful. Their Signiture Milk Tea with Oreo Cheese Top is creamy and tasty. 100% recommend to people that love boba!“
“I love this place, I went to Mount prospect and the Glendale location. Had the angry hot twice, (I usually go medium but angry hot is worth the experience) once per spot and they are identical. Hot and sweaty but the chicken is so worth for the delicious seasonings. Don’t sleep on anything they have!“
“Excellent meat and fresh fish and seafood in tanks, very much alive. You will find Asian sauces and vinegar, cooking wine products from all over the Asian countries. They have a make your own hot pot station as well as tableware from all over the Asian countries. Doesn't disappoint.“
“AMAZING DRINKS!This was one great find for us. We got Taro slush and Mango yogurt slush with lychee chewy jelly. The drinks tasted great. The girls at the service desk were very nice and helpful. The place has a cool vibe and lots of people attracted to their drinks/food. We would definitely try come to try more options.“
“The ice cream is good. And the workers are nice. I'd say if your interested then give it a try only sad part for me was there wasn't any chocolate ice cream >< but that's not really a big deal at least for me anyways.Really all I'd say is the place needs a good cleaning, the floors are kind of gross like it just doesn't look like it gets mopped every night. Ice cream not to bad 9/10 for me.“
“Finally got to try this fancy corn dog place that's popping up everywhere. Initial impression: Clean place, good prices, and a friendly enough staff. It did take a little time to get my order ready, which I wasn't expecting for a corn dog. There are many options to choose from. I ordered the combo with an Original Kong Dog. Holy moly that's a lot of fries! There was enough for three people. The fries were good, and the dog was alright but not great. Maybe I'll return one day try the potato dog next time. Or the ramen dog. Or the Cheeto dog. Or...Anyway. The mango lemonade is really good and my favorite item from this visit.3.5 stars, rounded up to four.“
