“This is a magnificent representative of the South American cuisine, including peruvian, Argentinean, Brazilian, and Ecuadorian. Today, we had the lomo Saltado acholado, the peruvian seafood fried rice, and the appetizer sampler. The portions are very generous, and one dish is enough for sharing between two people. They also give you br3d and sauce very delicious. The price is hifg but it is good for a special occasion.“

We were visiting from a couple hours away and I had been looking forward to this trip. I had the salmon which was well cooked and my husband had the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes. “I was a bit disappointed the first couple of times here - they were never open on time and never answered, whether coming at 11:30 a.m. or at noon. But finally they got their act together and they've been open. Just a quick heads up, they're related to La Unica in Rodgers Park and I have to say the food is somewhat equal. There's no BYOB here but everything tastes the same like the original. The menu here is slimed down a bit and they have pics on the wall to help you if you're, como se dice, unfamiliar with a Central and/or South American menu. The oxtail, beef stew, and maduros are favorites. That gravy is so good, I wish I knew the recipe, it's so Muy bien carnal.“
