“If you don’t know yet, Lombard has got it going on! And GL105 is an outstanding example of this quaint suburb. Expect high quality and comfortable casual dining; perfect place to meet up with friends.

The bartender knows how to mix and they have great taste in wines. Their creative menu will please a variety of tastes with tender smoked meats, tasty Asian dishes and other savory feasts. We hit up the short rib stroganoff, chicken fried rice bowl and pressed short ribs. Every bite was delicious (maybe the mashed potatoes weren’t quite at the same level.)

Hosts were a little stiff but the rest of the staff was very committed to making sure we had a great time and we did!“

“We always know we’ll have a wonderful time at Tannins. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the service team is attentive and friendly, and the wine selection is exceptional. Their wine club is a fantastic value, offering great perks at a very reasonable price. Tannins is our go-to spot for a relaxed and enjoyable evening. Highly recommend!

“Cesar. I was having the worst day because I found out my mom needed emergency surgery so I was rushing to get to Scottsdale and stopped for a glass of wine. (Or two) I realize I was late for my flight and ran to my gate. I of course left my laptop there. Thank you for reporting it because I was screwed if not. Somehow the laptop ended up at my gate and an attendant brought it to me. Great service. Great man and great vibes. Thanks for the wonderful service.“

“My wife and I enjoyed the Spring menu when we visited Seasons 52, the keyword being 'enjoyed.' It's always a treat to dine at Seasons 52, and this time was no exception. From the Tuna Tartare appetizer, to the entrees of Carmelized Scallops and Shrimp and Grits, to the shot glass-sized Turtle Cheesecake and Oatmeal Cookie desserts, everything was delicious. Vegetarian options: Depends on how strict a vegetarian. It is authentic Greek cuisine, so there are many seafood options. Strict vegetarians will be limited to roasted vegetables and hummus dishes, but they will try their best to accommodate.

Dietary restrictions: Gluten free dishes are labeled on the menu, but I don't think this is a totally gluten free kitchen with separate prep and cooking areas.

Parking: Large self parking lot that can overflow into other parking areas.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of families with children dine here. Many options on a children's menu.

Wheelchair accessibility: Large dining area with good access to move around, including the washrooms. Very little floor transitions (bumps or steps) unless one is going to back private dining rooms.“

“This place is beyond amazing. I live by Midway Airport and I'm thankful my girlfriend lives near here because otherwise I'd look crazy going all this way for the food. But it's completely worth it. Through multiple trips have tried numerous menu items and they serious can't do anything wrong. So far I've had: Egg Lemon soup, Greek Salad, Feta Spread (both regular and spicy), Gyros sandwich, Gyro Plate, Broasted Half Chicken (Greek style), Feta Fries, Calamari, Chicken Skewers, Loukomadies, Galaktoboureko, Burger with Gyro Meat, Chicken Pita, Pastitsio, and spanakopita. And nothing has been anything short of absolutely amazing. This place is worth every penny. Even my Greek Girlfriend who is VERY critical of her Greek Food agrees at how amazing this place is. Everything gets compared to her Grandma's cooking which sets a very high bar. And everything we have had has been a home run.“

Although I’m not typically a wine enthusiast, I was pleasantly surprised to find a refreshing German Gewurztraminer served cold, which paired well with the meal. As a vegetarian, I found the options a bit limited but decided to try the Caprese flatbread; it was decent, though not particularly memorable.

The atmosphere itself was lovely, and it’s a great spot if you're looking to unwind with friends in an inviting, upscale setting. Starting from the first day that we went to see The Elm we were treated with the upmost respect and professionalism. We had our ceremony in the Kensington room, and our reception in the Madison room. The atmosphere and vibe of both rooms was everything that we could hope for. The staff was incredible, the food/drinks were AMAZING, and our guests had nothing but positive feedback. “We go often but I must comment on how the hostess greets us every time we come in no matter how long it's been between visits. She is so happy to see us. She's such a joy. Then, of course, we get our favorite waitress, Tina, who is always smiling. And then there's the extra large piece of lasagna and chicken Caesar salad and don't get me started on the warm bread. I just wish we were younger when we used to be able to eat appetizers and desserts in addition to our meals instead of taking half our meal home :(“
