“While I can say that it's vastly superior to the other truck stops that I have encountered in Missouri and offers far more services amenities and hospitality to professional drivers and regular automobile driver's alike, it is still a truck stop with inflated prices and all of the strange brands the normal motorists do not encounter in day-to-day life.The showers here were clean serviceable and enjoyable. There is a television room and a small area for people to eat. There is also a small casino area. There is a small criminal element at this particular establishment. But that is to be expected and compared to some of the other elements I've encountered while in Missouri it is welcome in it's sparity.All together I can say that this truck stop is where you would want to go were you transiting from Missouri to Illinois on a normal commute.An excellent establishment.”

“Best Bread I have ever had, and I have been chasing down good bread for 50 years. I have had six different breads, all great. But the trading pane and the sesame are my favorites. Splurge for the tempered butter, it is worth it. Fantastic salads and soups, too. And the smoked beets are to die for!! Worth it to go just for that.”

“I absolutely LOVE BBM! I have started coming to the Edwardsville location about a month or so ago. Purchased probably like 30-40 meals so far which have all been delish and not to mention very filling! I love that the meals can last up to two weeks in the fridge and can even be frozen, which elimates soooo much waste when meal prepping myself or purchasing elsewhere. I have sent a few friends your way with nothing but compliments from them as well. If you are on the fence, highly suggest popping in!”

“Fleur de Thé is tucked along Juanita Street in Tower Grove Park. We were cared for by Tatiana, the daughter of the founder, and every recipe comes straight from her mother — and you can taste that lineage in every bite. The cucumber sandwiches were the quiet surprise: impossibly light bread and what was clearly a homemade butter that set the tone immediately. The scones with clotted cream? Honestly some of the best I’ve ever had — tender, rich, and exactly what a scone should be. Then came the sweets, and it was impossible to choose a favorite: A rose-flavored cookie that was delicate and fragrant without tipping into “perfume”. A spice cake made from their own traditional Indian chai (not an Americanized version), which I loved despite usually skipping spice cake. And a chocolate mousse so light and airy it felt like it might float right out of the cup. As if the tea itself wasn’t enough, the cherry blossom wall behind us felt like the perfect backdrop. Even the tiny gnome on the table added a bit of unexpected charm. If you’re looking for an afternoon that feels thoughtful, beautiful, and genuinely special, Fleur de Thé is something rare. The ceremony was held on the covered patio space and the reception in the Luxe Room which is gorgeous! The homemade food was delicious and the staff were all so friendly and fun. We were able to borrow almost all of our decor from their closet which was an added bonus. We are so happy we chose Grbic!”
