“Been here a few times now and got their sushi lunch special. Decent sushi at decent price. It's a small carry out with 2 booths. Not intentionally for dine in. They're always friendly and nice. Which is why I'll keep coming back. I liked that the lunch special comes with a big container of soy sauce and miso soup. As a matter of fact, I might stop by for some sushi today ?“

“I always love coming here & frequently do when I want a good hearty meal or bringing friends. We are always kindly greeted & welcomed when arriving. It smells wonderful & makes us more hungry! We are served a cup of soup (gratis) with every meal including breakfast (their soups are delicious). The staff is friendly & always accommodating. Our food is served hot in generous proportions & for the price (very reasonable compared to other restaurants of this kind), it can’t be beat. Greek owned, the hospitality & food is reflective of the Greek Culture, representing pride, family, community, friendship, kindness & duty of service that is offered to their guests. This is known as Philotimo (pronounced “Fi-ló-timo” [Fee-low-timo]).“

“I did take out …… My husband had the chicken tacos, he stated that they were delicious, I had a steak gordita without beans, and they put beans on it, and my meat didn’t have much flavor. I also didn’t like the steak they used. I go back but I’ll try another menu item. That was my only con.

“Perfect! It's clean and quiet. The food is fresh and hot. The service was quick and kind. I ordered one beef taco, so I can have a place to sit. The server put my taco on the table with a cup of water, salsa and chips. Most restaurants these days will not give you that when you order a taco. This place feels like home! Thankyou!“

I am well aware of the way things are nowadays, but Golden Bear...you really need to pile on more food for the prices. They are well above average. I will support you regardless, but your prices are way too high.“
