This past Saturday for my birthday my family all decided to out with me, my mother who has Alzheimer’s, was with us as well, just to get her out the house, mind you she is 65 years old and we were denied at the door because she didn’t have an ID to show! She was upset thinking she did something wrong and just wanted to go out and have a good time! My mother never got denied before! Definitely sad, was going to spend some money,have a good time and support a local business but could not!

Great place to relax with a laid back atmosphere during the week. Customers and the staff are friendly and great drink specials during the week. Weekend evenings host drag shows and everyone has a great time with a DJ and dancing after the shows. There is even an outside area during nice weather. Just a great friendly place to hang out.

Haven't tried the food. For me it's a safe place to chill out and get a beer. Totally a rainbow mix of people. So wherever you are on the rainbow there's a barstool for you. I haven't been to a drag show in about 10 years. Those are a blast of course. Beautiful back room and outdoor space. The owner is pretty cool too and down to earth. Just nice being queer without the hassle of dealing with biggots. CASH ONLY, so go prepared. There's ATMs all around the area if you forget. So if you're tired of the bologna you get in other venues in the area, check it out. Not over the top before the show. Chill pub atmosphere.
Parking: Parking can get stressed for the drag show so show up early if you get stressed walking a block.

I started going to Bubby & Sissy’s on New years of this year, (2024). I love this bar, for so many reasons.
I moved here from Portland Oregon, and didn’t know many people. I now know so many and have made so many amazing friendships. From locals, bartenders and even the owners here. They are all such friendly people.
The environment is welcoming and so much fun. Always has music playing and shows and a wonderful back patio area. A dance floor and karaoke every other Thursday, and amazing drinks. this place is the spot and everyone should come check it out.

What an amazing, welcoming place. I never been somewhere where as a stranger I was welcomed by all. The owner was a delight. The folks at tye bar friendly as can be.
