During a recent visit, a live singing group added a festive touch, infusing the space with genuine Christmas cheer without overwhelming the intimate atmosphere. While we have not yet sampled the food, dishes arriving at neighboring tables are beautifully presented and look enticing, suggesting the bar program is thoughtfully complemented by the kitchen. Taylor’s on Toft is a standout in Antioch: a place defined by gracious hospitality, expertly made cocktails, and an atmosphere that invites return visits. Highly recommended.”

“Very disappointed that they do not offer any salad combinations other than chicken. Most sandwich places offer any of their sandwiches made into a salad. For example, a simple Julianne salad with ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese would be a nice change. Cook would not substitute for chicken. If they have all the fixings, I don't see why they can't make more salad options.”

“We’ve been enjoying Taco Tuesday at Mexican Paradise for the past few weeks, and every visit has been nothing short of fantastic. Brian, the owner, personally delivers food to tables and makes it a point to give every kid a high five and a ring pop before they leave. He and his wife are constantly moving through the restaurant, making sure every table is well taken care of while also connecting with their guests. The staff is friendly, attentive, and quick, and the food is always delicious with just the right portion sizes. Tonight, I noticed Brian taking the time to hold the door for an elderly woman and even walking her to her car to ensure she got there safely. Our waitress then informed us he does this every single night for his whole staff. 🥹 Dining at Mexican Paradise isn’t just about the food—it’s a full experience made with care, perfect for the whole family.”

Though it did create a communication barrier being so loud, the staff remained calm and friendly. To make up for it, a gentleman passed out cookies to those in line. This location is very clean and you can tell the staff takes pride. Can’t wait to continue to make this our go to comfort food place!”

“The Port is one of the best more relaxed restaurant/bars on the water. The staff is so welcoming and knowledgeable. A perfect vibe any night with live bands, DJs, and a touch tunes jukebox where you can play your own music. Tons of events during peak season, coinciding with the Island, and the Port even does Halloween and Christmas themed events. I’d love to hold my own event here one day.”

I have made a habit of going on a Friday or Saturday evening, Jackie the host is what keeps me going back, she is a big draw for this establishment, she goes above and beyond for the guest and seems to greet most by name, many have told me they go there to visit with Jackie and play some slots. So nice to have a great adult entertainment close to home.”

“Small place, not meant as a full blown restaurant, first time ever here the food was very excellent, good flavors, huge scrimps y my dish (i was surprised) portions were enough for two people but i ate it by myself. Prices were very fair . The waitress was very nice, sweet and respectful. I will come back again and again until they change the cheef or flavors.”
