“Hideout Pub & Grill is a fun place for Karaoke night, 🎤 and I believe that it's 4 nights a week. Service is usually slow, food is okay, and drinks are always good. The staff is very friendly and the Karaoke KJ 🎤 is very good and keeps things moving nicely. I will go back for karaoke night 🌙“

Newly renovated stage with a dart board and pool table. Great place to host a birthday party or to meet with old friends.“

“This place is a hidden gem. Food and service were excellent. Hard to find great or even good German food nowadays. We had Rouladen, Sauerbraten and Osso Buco, all were excellent. Exceeded our expectations, we’ll be going back for sure. Servers and chef/kitchen staff were fantastic.“

“My waiter was good and friendly. I sat in covered patio. I ordered a spring salad with shrimp. blackberries, grapefruit, candied pecans, arugula and berry vinaigrette and a side of Mac n cheese. The salad was missing the pecans but I forgot until I left, I thought something was missing. However, the shrimp was perfectly cooked. The ratio of shrimp to half portion was good. Mac N Cheese was ok. Noodles were undercooked and some still hard/crunchy edges and cheese sauce was just average and a bit gritty/thick. However, I was not expecting my meal to be served with plastic wrapped plastic utensils. a take home box for salad and a take home container for dining in. That was disappointing. the table of eight next to me was a bit shocked too to get their meals in to go cardboard containers.“

“Went with family for the Friday night fish special. Was pretty good, but the gem was the variety of sizes that came with the platter. Everything could have used a bit more seasoning, except the veggies provided with it were done well. Typical decor for this type of establishment.“

“I ate here twice. Cesar salad with grilled chicken was very good, a little heavy on the dressi g for my liking. I also had the chicken wings which were average, a little too crispy in my opinion, but celery was very fresh and was very good with the blue cheese. Second visit, I had the Italian Wedding soup. Soup was delicious and hot, perfectly paired with the buttery toast that just melted in my mouth with the soup broth and was perfect for dipping!! I also had the market salad with medium rare steak. Salad was big and steak was cook as requested. The soup with toast was definitely the highlight for me. Prices are on the high end, but I didn't leave hungry. Perfect spot when staying at the hotel and don't feel like going out.“

It's a place full of locals that you can only find here!! It's got a fascinating back story and a ton of not just local history but Chicago history.! This is one of the places that the Irish Mafia used to hang out in!!! A place where the murder mystery is alive and unsolved!!! You come to a place like this and you can feel the history, feel it in your soul!! You want to check this place out!!! Ask anyone here about the history and they will tell you straight out!!
