“I was planning to get something from Taco Bell but decided to try another place in the area and found Authentic Taco. It was a short drive away, and I ordered a Chicken Burrito. The price was reasonable at less than $10 and the portion size was huge. I was able to cut it into 2 parts and have it at different times. The food itself was decent. Not spectacular but not bad either. I don't like a whole lot of rice in the burrito and this one had it, so it had a Chipotle-like feel. The sauces that came with it was good.
Overall: Okay, not bad. If it was a bit closer, I would have gone more regularly.“

“Stopped by on a whim and was very, very surprised. The outside is quite attractive with an outside eating area. The inside is nice and clean with plenty of seating. We ordered chips and salsa, Pollo with Mole, and the Steak Burrito Fajita. The chips are homemade (as expected) and very good. The chicken in the Pollo with Mole was super tender. The mole was rich. It came with homemade corn tortillas. The Steak Burrito is filled with fajita fillings, so steak, green and red peppers, and onions. The flour tortilla was filled and grilled giving the whole a nice smokey flavor. It was one of the very best burritos I have ever had. Look over my reviews. I have eaten a lot of burritos. They have a creamy salsa verde that is great, a very nice Roja sauce, and a hot sauce that is no joke hot. Our server was great and the whole experience was a great one. Will be back soon.“

“Beer-battered shrimp tacos, with their special topping, plus we added a slice of avocado, was what we had for dinner tonight. My husband stopped midway through his meal and said this was the BEST TACOS …and guacamole! Thank you Taco Shop!!!“

Its closer to home and now I don't have to drive all the way to west dundee to go to the original. great food, great service. everything always tastes so fresh and we've never had anything off the menu we didn't love. “The staff is friendly, patient and calm and they are bilingual too. The food is amazing I had very specific concerns with my food and how it was made. They made is exactly the way I asked them too. Overall great experience!!!!!

“Had the steak taco with onions and cheese. Also opted for refried beans.I normally don't frequent these fast food places but I was in a hurry. The young lady who took my order and made my food was very nice.The steak meat was decent. The onions were awesome and the flour tortilla was good. a little pricey at 4.99 per taco but it had a lot of meat on it.Refried beans were just ok.The food here is nothing special but it was better than some tacos from Mexican restaurants.-Urfavorite_realtor“

I stop by in here for their pizza. It's a thin crust and the largest size takes 12 min to make. 15 min if you ask for it extra crispy. 30 bucks. feeds 3 or 4 grown hungry men, depending. They say it's for more but I say my portions test might be more accurate.
You can ask them to slice it in a specific way. Bottled drinks around 3 dollars with the tax included. Overall if you're splitting the bill with 3 or maybe 4 other people you won't go over 13 ish dollars for pizza and drinks. Pizza is pretty good, staff is nice and if pizza isn't your thing they have alot of other options.“
