“This is another great family owned and operated buisness. They have a wide variety of specialty sandwiches. They offer variety of dinner options. I haven't used the catering before but I'm sure these guys are good at it. The restaurant is a hidden gem and need to look for it a little. It's clean and didn't see any signs of insects, etc....The specialize in Mexican food but as I said they have multiple specialty dinners that are not Mexican. I personally ordered a patty melt to see how they tasted, and it was great. Please support family owned businesses. I think corporate will do fine. Surprised me at how great the food was and will definitely be back again.The inside is small but can seat a few folks but it’s the tables outside that make for a great spot to enjoy some tasty food with friends. “Regular price and size tacos al pastor are really good. On Monday and Tuesday tacos are supposed to be 1 dollar but if you don't ask they won't tell. Why would you advertise that in social media if you don't offer it to your customers and instead just give them regular tacos and when customer ask, you say that you need to ask for those ? ? If you opt for the special taco be aware that you would get 80% tortilla and 10% grease scraps.“

“The food here at least for the carnitas, are hands down the best, i live near the ORD airport and used to drive down all the way down to the southside for some good carnitas. Thank goodness, I no longer have to since finding this gem of a restaurant. Another indication that this place is great is because it always has customers, never empty. Oh, and their champurado is da bomb! I haven't tried other stuff on their menu like tacos, flautas, etc. But I can vouch for the carnitas. staff is also friendly and very clean.“

“Food was okay, atmosphere is cool, and the service was great. The food wasn't as flavorful as the other Mexican restaurants I'm used to from around the area. I had the pollo tacos and shared a platter of the nachos. Both were just okay - nothing to rave about. The restaurant itself is clean. Reminded us of a diner! The staff were also super kind and helpful, which is awesome. This hasn't replaced my go-to Mexican restaurant in the area, but I'd still visit again to try something else on the menu!“
