“Nice atmosphere and good beer“

“My wife and I have been coming here since it opened. The beer is awesome, but the community they're building is even better. This is a "joint" to be sure. All of the staff are pleasant and accommodating, and did I mention the beer? The events? The food trucks? Trivia? It's the best brewery on the river, bar none.“

“A busy Sunday afternoon in and we sat at the bar. Had Pot Stickers as an Appetizer. A nice start Had a few of the in-house suds. Very nice. Especially liked Viking Red Ale. Did a Pub burger with Swiss and fries. Tasty. My friend did the French Onion soup as a main plate. He enjoyed it. Menu had many options. Service was amazing. Very attentive and friendly. Brant, out main server, but all the bar staff helped out. Liked all the historical photos. First time, but not the last time! A gem in Gem in Geneva.“

“Very cool place. Once you cross the threshold you feel like you're in a cozy cabin in a small town. Decor and vibe is outdoorsy cabin. Outdoor porch offers comfortable seating. We were there for a party. Our friends had reserved a separate bar space a few stairs up from the main floor. We ordered food and drinks at the bar but had privacy and comfortable seating in the event space. The pretzel bites, which I don't usually care for, were delicious, hot and buttery. The gluten free hummus and veggie appetizer was a hit. The pizzas were very good. My favorite was the Italian beef and gardenia pizza but the mushroom/truffle pizza and the pepperoni were also great choices. There was a lot of variety in the beverage menu. I tried a raspberry paczki beer, but really enjoyed the lavender lemonade. The beer selection was great and everyone enjoyed the evening. The establishment even allowed us to bring a celebratory cake in.“

“I had my baby shower here in April and it was beautiful! The food, the staff, the secluded area, it was perfect! Everyone kept saying howYummy everything was, and my family and I were so impressed with the staff with how friendly and accommodating they were. Just such a wonderful experience from the start of the panning for the shower, until the very end of clean up after the event. Highly recommend Alter Brewing and Kitchen for your private event!“

“We had reservations for a table and were seated right away. We sat for over 15 minutes before asking a few different employees for a waiter. We soon realized the place was drastically understaffed. We went to the bar to get drinks while we waited and eventually got served. I will say that the staff they did have was hustling like crazy so can't be mad at them a bit but management didn't seem present and the small staff was overwhelmed. They had a band while we were there and they were awesome. Food was all very tasty as were the drinks.“
