“Pure green, is amazing I went opening day! The vibe inside is purely amazing. It’s chill and welcoming. They staff was great while ordering, helped us with recommendations, and what’s in each smoothie and why they recommend it, I got a smoothie it was called coco skinny, it was amazing!! I didn’t even get a couple sips in before my 5 year old stole it and ran off, she’s so picky that you know if she drinks it it’s fabulous! (I did get it back and we shared) but this place is just fabulous. If you’re looking for a great place you found it! I can’t wait to go back and try the açaí bowls! Those looked amazing! Its grilled, not fried, so my entire meal was pretty healthy. It's a smaller portion for American portions, but it's fairly priced and delish!!! Highly recommend!!! Oh! They have a special right now $2.99 smoothies with any non breakfast food purchase from 3-9pm, so my sandwich and smothie cost me what a meal at mcdonalds would have been. “I do not have any complaints about the food, but I have been bothered by a situation which occurred while we were here. I brought 2 of my young granddaughters here last week. We arrived around 11:15 and planned to stay and eat our açaí bowls for lunch. While we were deciding what to order, there were 12-15 high school girls who came in and took every seat to eat their lunches which they brought from home. I believe 1 girl ordered something, but the rest sat and ate their lunches which they did not order from this establishment. We left after getting our food and walked home to eat since there were no seats for us to sit. I can’t believe people are allowed to bring their own food into this place to eat and take up every seat. I was visiting Glen Ellyn, so I don’t know if this is a common practice of restaurants to allow people to bring in their own food? But, I have never experienced this in other towns, and would be embarrassed if one of my family members would do this! And, I would imagine these girl’s parents don’t take their own food into the restaurants in Glen Ellyn! I did not see any sign on the door which said “paying patrons only”, so assume it is okay with management?“

“This place is the only Japanese inspired bubble tea I have found in the county of Dupage and in the west suburbs of Chicago. From Hokkaido milk tea to the shokupan (swirl bread), they offer a variety of Japanese items to try. As someone who grew up in Japan I really appreciate that they have brought in drinks and food that remind me of some piece of home.

I recently noticed that they added jewelry accessories including some Sanrio character earrings. The earring variety may change.

“Amazing gem in Bloomingdale. The menu has many choices including gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, lactose free, and for us carnivores. Drink menu has sake, handcrafted beer, wines, cocktails, bottled beer, teasing, bubble teas and more. We started with egg rolls and pancake scallion bites. They provide four sauces! My favorite is the chili oil, but there is also ginger, Wasabi and sweet sauce. All made in house. Entrees were sesame peanut noodles and Mongolian beef. So good. We will be back.“

“The food was actually incredible. That to me is always the most important and I got the chicken legs and thigh with a dry rub, the outside of the chicken was crispy and the inside was juicy.

“Bamboo Spoon has such a great selection of things I never make it back to try them all .. They do Frozen Yogurt, many flavors with lots of stuff to put it in, they just added a premium high milkfat ice cream .. they do organic smoothies and lots of different bubble teas .. they also have the 'protien' so that one could go there with people on a couple of diets, ones that didn't care and some kids and everyone would find something they liked... And something they would like to try next time! They are happy to customize for you! Everything is clean and well managed, and everyone is pleasant. I stop there regularly .. Nice stop after dinner in the Arboretum or after a massage at Elements next door! :)“
