“I came here two days back to back - one afternoon for a smoothie and next morning for breakfast and this is one of the best cafe's I've been too. The staff really took great care to prepare my smoothie perfectly and it was delicious! Next morning, the breakfast was healthy with great taste as well. What impressed me most was the outstanding service provided by JC and Eric this morning. They went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my meal and I was treated very well!. Kudos to JC and Eric for their excellent service who are superstars themselves and Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a 5-Star cafe!

Its grilled, not fried, so my entire meal was pretty healthy. It's a smaller portion for American portions, but it's fairly priced and delish!!! Highly recommend!!! Oh! They have a special right now $2.99 smoothies with any non breakfast food purchase from 3-9pm, so my sandwich and smothie cost me what a meal at mcdonalds would have been. “I do not have any complaints about the food, but I have been bothered by a situation which occurred while we were here. I brought 2 of my young granddaughters here last week. We arrived around 11:15 and planned to stay and eat our açaí bowls for lunch. While we were deciding what to order, there were 12-15 high school girls who came in and took every seat to eat their lunches which they brought from home. I believe 1 girl ordered something, but the rest sat and ate their lunches which they did not order from this establishment. We left after getting our food and walked home to eat since there were no seats for us to sit. I can’t believe people are allowed to bring their own food into this place to eat and take up every seat. I was visiting Glen Ellyn, so I don’t know if this is a common practice of restaurants to allow people to bring in their own food? But, I have never experienced this in other towns, and would be embarrassed if one of my family members would do this! And, I would imagine these girl’s parents don’t take their own food into the restaurants in Glen Ellyn! I did not see any sign on the door which said “paying patrons only”, so assume it is okay with management?“

“I am visiting the St Charles area from Texas and was craving pho and literally stopped in because it was the closest to me, but it is worth a visit for yall! Not only was the staff so friendly and nice, they let me place my to go order and I was in and out in less than 10 min! I’m literally eating my pho right now and it’s AMAZING!!! I’m glad I also ordered extra noodles and broth cause I know imma want more tomorrow! I’m 100000% coming back when I’m in town next in spring and I’ve already recommended it to the family I have here!“

“A gem for your typical rolled ice cream and various drinks. However, the real treasure is the Taiwanese cuisine. If you have a chance, try the pork spareribs, the popcorn chicken as appetizers. For the main entree, the beef noodles is a must. If you're there on the weekends and you're looking for a homey dish, although a little gamey, the lamb rice is almost made to perfection. It's not on the menu so you have to ask!“

“Went in with my friend. There’s lots of micro trend goodies you can buy if you’re into mystery eggs and labubus. You use a kiosk to order, maybe this is my fault but I asked for my drink to be no ice but it felt pretty hot? I assumed no ice would be room temperature not hot but worker re made it for me pretty fast. I tried using my visa to swipe but it didn’t work, apple pay and chip works though. Place is clean and there’s seasonal teddy bear cups you can get. Kiosk will ask you to tip even though staff doesn’t really talk to you. I got the Taro milk tea and it wasn’t my personal favorite but I probably just don’t like Taro. Friend got a Mango passion fruit jasmine green tea with 50% sugar and Mango Jelly. I personally liked hers a lot better and will probably order that when I go to Uni Uni in Chicago this weekend.

Friend doesn’t like a lot of sugar, so she still thought that the 50% was too much sugar. To me, as someone who likes sugar, it was really sweet even for 50% but it was the perfect sugar level for me.

We were picking up a few blizzards, and two of them were off menu requests (older/retired recipes). The manager (owner?), Rerish, took great care of us and gave us very good recommendations. He made sure we got what we were looking for and shared the recipes so the recipients would know what to ask for next time. The two blizzards were delivered, and the kids LOVED them. Thanks so much! “Amazing gem in Bloomingdale. The menu has many choices including gluten free, vegetarian, vegan, lactose free, and for us carnivores. Drink menu has sake, handcrafted beer, wines, cocktails, bottled beer, teasing, bubble teas and more. We started with egg rolls and pancake scallion bites. They provide four sauces! My favorite is the chili oil, but there is also ginger, Wasabi and sweet sauce. All made in house. Entrees were sesame peanut noodles and Mongolian beef. So good. We will be back.“
