“I’ve been through this McDonald’s a few evenings recently, and one thing I’ve really come to appreciate is the way the manager handles the shift. It’s not loud or chaotic , just calm, respectful, and focused on what matters: hot, accurate food and friendly service. You can tell he cares more about getting things right than rushing things just to look busy. Honestly, it makes the experience feel more personal and less like you’re just another number in line. Leadership like that deserves more recognition.“

“I was at this location on 7/6/24 at around 1200.The young man that took my order was very polite and professional,he went above and beyond by asking the cooks to make my food fresh as I requested it.The food was delicious and made the way I ordered.Keep up the good work“

“I was having a conversation with a worker and noticed her using lots of organic ingredients and real Himalayan salt... this sparked my curiosity and I started paying attention to the food she was making ... I decided to buy lunch here after initially just grabbing my first ever coffee at this coffee shop .... to my surprise that dragon berry fruit bowl was absolutely amazing. I have never been to a place that uses clean ingredients like this. This was a great experience. 5 stars!“

It is located in Hy-Vee at N Sheridan Rd, and it's always a pleasure to be at this small, modernly appointed coffee shop, that finds new ways to attract customers.\n\nI purchased two pastries -- Banana Pecan Cake and -- my favorite -- Cheese Danish, then after I paid for the pastries (total $8.77), I decided to have another favorite of mine -- Strawberry Acai Lemonade (total $5.49). Hence, two receipts :) Prices are much higher this summer, compared to a year ago. OK ...\n\nThe refresher was absolutely excellent, as well as the service by the amiable staff, who were friendly and hospitable as usual, they provide personable service, and know their customers very well. “(University St/ Peoria, IL Location) This morning I was ordering my drink in the drive-thru when I realized I forgot my debit card at home. I let the worker know and apologized. I began to back out of the drive-thru when the worker said it was on them today. She empathized with my bad luck and was beyond kind. I should have asked her name but she was working the drive-thru at 10:30am on 12/9. Thank you ❤“

“Starbucks at 7610 N Orange Prairie Rd looks very happy indeed, beginning with its great location: it's in the indoor area of a giant, sparkling supermarket Hy-Vee. That makes the stop at Starbucks for a cup of coffee or a snack quite natural. The choice of options is clearly displayed on the menus and info boards, and the amiable, well-trained staff is happy to greet you and get the order ready. Cappuccino I ordered was good, just a little bit strong for me, and Crispy Grilled Cheese Sandwich was absolutely excellent -- fresh, hot and very tasty. The ambiance in this Starbucks also couldn't be happier -- it is placed in a very spacious area, has no closed walls around it -- so you can easily access it, besides it faces the flower section of the supermarket. Some bright flower bouquets and cute decorations are placed near the seating area, creating a cute little flower garden, of sorts (please, see the photos). The seating area itself is fairly small, but functional, and you can also eat at the dining area near the exit from the supermarket, or place the order as a take out. Starbucks also offers a lot of brand items for purchase, including gift cards. All the current sanitation regulations were observed by the staff and customers. I have been to this Starbucks several times lately -- and I always enjoyed my experience at this coffee shop. Thank you and see you soon!“

“I didn’t get the name of the cashier and that’s unfortunate for this tale being as she deserves full recognition! But around 10 this morning I went in and I couldn’t figure out what I wanted but she saw and heard me even when I couldn’t figure it out and got me a perfect coffee. My order was a large Carmel coffee extra coffee 4 cream and 4 sugar a big thank you to your cashier for hearing what I wanted while I’m sleep and caffeine deprived. She’s amazing ❤️“

“I work downtown and go here at least once a week. I order the same thing when I go, 16oz Fr Vanilla Latte with half and half. Depending who was working the counter I would get charged differently each time. $5.66 one day or $6.77 the next. I asked one day and was told I was being charged for the half and half. Ok fine, BUT today I go there and order the same drink and they wanted to charge me $7.00 for a 16oz??? Starbucks and Dunkin charge $4.49 for the same drink and size. I go to CXT to support local. But today was probably my last day. The gentleman today fixed me up and I was charged $5.00. I think you Managers better circle back because no one will pay $7.00 for a 16oz iced latte.“

“I ordered online and when I went to pick up my custom dozen donuts, I was told they did not have 3 out of 6 types. I found this ridiculous as there was no such message during order placement AND I received a confirmation “your order is ready.” Only when I was there to pick up my order, they told me they don’t have those items (it was 5 pm). Apparently they only make donuts in the morning and sell those donuts all day long.So, if you want a specific type of donut, you gotta go in the morning.The lady at the cash counter was apologetic and offered me extra donuts. Of course it’s not her fault, I wish Dunkin’ had a better policy.“

“The wait is never too long, staff is consistent and friendly as they can be working with the public lol. Food comes heated fresh, I notice sometimes at the Peoria Dunkin locations, the food (hashbrowns/sandwiches) can tend to have a burnt plastic or weird taste to it from the oven (I think), but it is only some locations, has happened here maybe once.“

“Great Dunkin overall. Everything besides customer service is 5/5 in my experience. Customer service is about a 3.5/5. They’re nice but the speaker is ear piercingly loud and there’s a lot going on through the window normally. The coffee is always good and they’re quicker than most Dunkin’s.“

“What food I've ordered has been delish. Great coffee choices for all tastes. I only go when I have a coupon or special occasions because everything is so expensive.
The stores I've been in are a dark color. It would be nice to see them lighten up the interior spaces.“

“While I usually have a great experience at this Starbucks location, today I was told that I was "coming across very rude" because I asked a question about a drink. When the Oleato Oatmilk Latte was first introduced this past winter, it came with toffeenut included. I asked if it still came that way. I was told by multiple baristas that I must be thinking of the Oleato Shaken Espresso. I didn't raise my voice. I didn't get mean or nasty at being told what I'm thinking. In fact, I smiled through the entire exchange. But I did push back, because I know that the original drink was hot, and that it came with toffeenut automatically. And apparently that makes me rude? Starbucks, I expect better from your people.“

“Self-proclaimed “Dunkie junkie” this is my favorite Dunkin in the Peoria area. The owner knows me by name and the staff is friendly and efficient. If an error is made, they fix it right away. I’m a simpleton - a coffee with cream is all I need and this Dunkin keeps me caffeinated. The drive-thru can be tedious because everyone wants coffee from this Dunkin and I am constantly amazed at how fast and efficient they work their drive thru. Ordering ahead? You barely have to brake at the window, they’ve got your order ready and waiting. But not without a quick thank you and have a nice day!“

“Young man at the window was wonderful!!! I didn't get a name, but he had pretty tattoos on his neck. I apologize for not using a better description. This was the Dunkin on Court St in Pekin Illinois.
Very friendly and kept apologizing for the wait, which wasn't even bad to me, but I appreciate him saying it. He was very kind. Great thing to experience on a cold Wednesday morning!!!“

“Today's experience was extremely slow. The people were kind and helpful but they were very overworked or short staffed. I just don't understand why a four peice order doesn't get served all at once. It took about 35 minutes to get two drinks, sandwich, and a cranberry cake. Which was served one at a time between other people's orders. I recommend to use the drive thru.“
