“We stop in once a week. Becky and the other workers always greet us with a smile. They know my order, a Mud-tire Mocha, extra shot of expresso and whipped cream. Going to Southern Grace in Elsberry is like visiting an old friend. They even know my favorite straw is purple. I don't know what I like the most, the coffee or Becky and the crew/”

“Over a month ago we went and the food and people were just so amazing ! I loved everything about this place I got a job here . It’s very family oriented,friendly regulars are amazing and might as well be family . Everyday starting the day after I got hired I walked in with my partner and the regs and workers all came up introduce themselves! I absolutely love this place ,my boss is amazing and kind and really funny and absolutely put love into it all . The other workers Kelci, Punkie Loni and Wayne (I might be missing some ) are all a great team . I don’t know how I deserve this job but I love it here 🖤 we work hard and have a great time ! Also food is amazing !!! I haven’t even had most the menu but the bufflow chicken sandwich is sooooo delicious , burgers , my fav French toast ! Give it a try you may just be a new regular!”

“Wife had a tenderloin and I had a rueben. Both were actually really good. Couple nice cold beverages to wash em down and enjoyed a lazy Sunday afternoon. Establishment was clean, bar tender was nice, has video golf, shuffleboard, couple pool tables. Cool little place. We'll definitely go back”

“The whole catfish dinner is DELICIOUS! The Bosco sticks are just as AMAZING as the ones I remember from middle school. I DEFINITELY recommend the catfish nuggets. They're more catfish strips! If you like fried fish, you'll love this place! Can't wait to come back!”

“We stopped in today for the first time. It was after the dinner rush close to closing. The staff was very friendly. We had the pork chops family style and the catfish fritter dinner. Both were delicious and arrived in a reasonable time. The staff checked on us frequently and made sure we were taken care of. Great comfort food. It was exactly what we were expecting. I grew up going to the original location when I lived in jerseyville, and the new location does a good job of carrying the same vibes. The menu has lots of choices and the prices are very reasonable. Great job bringing it back, and I’ll definitely be back when I am back in the area. Almost forgot to mention the new location is great for river and bridge views. Lucky to have barges passing by and watching the bridge being raised and lowered.”

“My husband and I have been ordering here for over 10 years. He gets Black Pepper Chicken and Shrimp Fried Rice no matter where we go, but he says Royal China’s is the best! It's our favorite Chinese restaurant around, so we go out of way to get it when we can. The food is always fresh and delicious and the staff are very nice.”

“This store is in my back yard literally. And the closing employee heather. Has some teenage kids walk her home. Every night that she closes. And they antagonize my dog after i told them twice to stop. Till the point my dog is trying to climb a six foot fence. And not once did heather the adult with said kids. try to stop them. Or tell them to stop doing that. As a person that has multiple large dogs that get out all the time and are at large in Winfield and are capable of doing the same thing as mine was trying to do. You would think she wouldn't let the teenagers that are with her mess with someone's dogs. That are literally in her jobs back yard. The dog was just out using the bathroom for the night. I wanna note had she climbed it and got over she would have just came to the front door. I just happened to be outside with my mom eating dinner. When it all went down. And witness what my dogs are barking at the same time almost every night. When they are let out for the last time every night.”
