I think I left a 5 star review already but this in the best chicken spot on the south side of Maywood HANDS DOWN 🙌
When you need a good late-night snack in Bellwood, it's the place to go. Parking is good and the place is not off the beaten path. The menu is plentiful, and the food is fresh! I suppose you could eat at one of the 2 tables, but why not take it home, relax, and enjoy it?
My order was taken promptly and my food was ready in 15 minutes. Fresh and hot.
Jj Fish & Chicken is a popular spot serving a variety of fried dishes, including fried crab legs, fried wings, fried catfish, and fried lobster tails. Their combo Philly cheese sandwich is a highlight, and their customer service is friendly and amazing. The staff is welcoming, and kids are well catered to with a special kids' meal option. The fried crab legs are phenomenal and cooked to perfection, with some customers even coming back for more. The restaurant is clean and doesn't smell like old grease, making it a pleasant surprise for visitors, including those trying items like ocean perch, which is considered one of the best fishes.
