I got bulk buckwheat and barley (which is actually difficult to find around me) and teas and meats — German salami which almost no one has & Ukrainian sausage. Danish blue cheese for $10.99 / lb — almost twice that at Whole Foods. I had some kind of ground pork stuffed pastry made there and when heated up at home — was delicious. I’d heartily recommend and as for the person who got an expired Diet Coke — really????? That wasn’t even food when it started.“

“Last night after a long hiatus we stopped into Mortons In Rosemont! I have eaten at the Original on State street so I wasn't sure what to expect. I believe we showed up a few minutes before they opened for dinner.... Our mistake after shopping at the Fashion Outlets nearby. We realized that we were the 1st there and felt bad! However we were immediately greeted and welcomed in! We were seated and waited on by Suzanne whom was obviously a pro at her job! We did their Porter Steak Dinner that's literally enough for 2 huge guys, and we had the most amazing experience! I eat at many fine restaurants but this was a wonderful time and fabulous meal. Suzanne just made us feel comfortable and like we were regulars! I'm sure we will be back soon! 5 stars ++++++“

“We went here for lunch with 7 of us not realizing it was a smaller place. The manager set up a larger table for us and even waited on us! The staff was absolutely outstanding. The food was great as well. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.“

“After Vesecky (bakery) in Berwyn closed several months ago, preceeded by the loss of Bohemian Crystal (restaurant) about a year earlier; we thought it was no longer worth the 3+ hr drive up to the Chicago suburbs to satisfy our Czech food cravings. We were wrong; as finding this little gem was such a fortunate happenstance. The cream of mushroom soap is wonderful, the breaded pork tenderloin excellent, the strudel addictive, the kolacky tasty, etc etc etc... And; they have jaternice, cream sausage, head cheese, etc. all of which is virtually non-existent in mid-north Indiana. This is the type of east-European ethnic deli/eatery that is becoming harder and harder to find; thank goodness we spotted it. If one enjoys Czech cuisine, this is a "must" visit.“

“Great place for snacks and drinks. A little pricey, but convienent for the area. The cashiers are nice and usually let you off if you have a little less than what you're exposed to have. I usually get a drink and a bag of chips and head back to the park with my friends. Costs 2 to 3.5 if you get chips and a drink.“

Their deli foods are excellent, I got some goląbki and kabanosy. Very authentic, though the goląbki are huge compared to how my babeczka made them. Definitely coming back before I leave Chicago.“

“I am not saying this because it was my own wedding, but I have NEVER had this good of wedding food. The amount of compliments we got about the food and service was outstanding. I truly don't know how they managed to make such a large amount of food with such a big variety so perfect. There was not a single bad bite the entire night. The staff were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They even ran to McDonalds to pick up fries for our late night snack. I cannot be more thankful of Michael and his time and would recommend them to anyone who wants amazing food and service. 11/10!“
