“Had a phenomenal experience here. Kind and quick service, beautiful interior, all that—but goodness gracious the food?!?? The Ropa Vieja was phenomenal, lovingly stewed and seasoned beef and fresh rice and veggies gosh DARN and to say nothing of the homemade hot sauce? Delightfully smoky vinegary kick that brought it all together. Great guac, great drinks, great dinner. The highest of recommendations! Thanks for a great meal Zully and kitchen :)“

“I have tried most of the Cuban restaurants in and around Chicago and this is the best for authentic Cuban food and consistency. I find the BYOB a real plus. The only problem is the hours are short if you want to go out for dinner. Almost impossible if you are a working person to get to the restaurant before closing. Even weekends are a problem. The quality of the food makes it my favorite place to go to eat the best Cuban food.“

“We were here a couple of years ago and planning on going hopefully this weekend (I'm from Chicago but live overseas for work). The food was amazing and the atmosphere, music, dancing was a lot of fun and not where you felt you were being picked up or come on to all the time...it was a nice place. Can't wait to go again.“

“The first time I went i wasn't impressed. I say this because the rice and black beans wasn't great. The sandwhich was not toasted enough. But I went when they have a buffet on Sundays and the rice and black beans was still okay but everything else tasted great. They had red beans which tasted great. They had fresh salad, toasty cubano sandwiches, Maduro, plantain chips, lechon was tasty and fresh, fresh cut bread with butter. They had flan which I'm not a big fan of but this flan tasted great. Also arroz con Leche. Servers was attentive and informed us of different favorites spoke English and Spanish. Restaurant is off Oak Park so street parking only.“

“This place hands down has some of the BEST tasting Cuban food I have ever tried. You can taste the intent behind there dishes. Don't get me started on their coffee either. Their prices and portions are decent too. I've never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend trying their food & beverages.“
