“I have been in this restaurant for more than 4 times. I highly recommend it. There are a lot of parking. Once you come in; you are greeted with a warm greeting and and enthusiastic smule by the host or owner. The servers are very accommodating , friendly and helpful. They check on their customers for whatever they need until your meal is done. The busboys are hardworking and any requests will be granted right away. The food/dishes are cooked just the way you requests. Their steaks and eggs are up to par. The prices are decently priced. For what they serve you, good amounts of food. Well worth it. Freshness and presentations of foods are stupendous! Never did I have any complaints the way the place is ran. Very clean. Wide open. Eventhough i live far. I kept going back and i know when i leave, my tummy is full, content and some take home left overs. Check their menu. Check the big breakfast meal. You can't go wrong with their reasonable prices. “Been going here for over 10 years. & For my 99% request (large B&G, over easy eggs, side of link sausage and pancakes) it has been the best.. ???.. went off rail Sunday... I tried the Country Fried Steak skillet.. the bacon was burnt, the cfs tasted off.. Got the same feedback from other guests in my party. So here it can be a mixed bag. Order items that would require "made to order" ingredients, my guess.. Except the gravy.. it's gooooood.. ?“

Our waitress, Febe, provided EXCELLENT service—she was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was amazing, coming out hot and fresh, just as we hoped. From the fluffy pancakes to the savory breakfast burrito, every dish was delicious and perfectly prepared. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff made us feel right at home. In my opinion, this restaurant should be rated #1 in Addison, IL for breakfast. No other place comes close to the quality and service we experienced here. Highly recommend! (2024) How ever long is your wait is please wait. It’s definitely worth the wait. Their food is absolutely delicious and our waitress was professional + friendly. “Went there in the afternoon for late breakfast. Food was excellent ...service was crap..Waittress brought out my friend's food and didn't bring out all of my food till I was halfway through my meal. When I told a waitress she said that the kitchen was behind on putting orders out but I was there a 1/2 hour before they close? Food was excellent and a large amount and plan on taking leftovers home.

I had the country fried steak with sausage gravy, biscuit, scrambled eggs and hash browns. It was so good, I hardly paid attention to what anyone else ordered. But everyone was extremely happy with what they got. We were surprised with a lovely birthday cake after we finished our meal. “I moved to the area 6 months ago, my sister & I tried this place for the 1st time today. Even though it was a Saturday morning & very busy we were seated within a couple of minutes. Being it was our first time here we had to take time to look over the menu & the specials. We decided to share the West Coast crepes, & the Caprese Benedict, both were fresh, delicious, & plentiful, both of us even took a half of a crepe home, we also shared an order of bacon 🥓 which was thick cut, & not too salty. The menu has plenty of options to choose from, healthy options, vegetarian, meaty, fruity, etc. The one thing I would like is with their crepe menu, they have a few different options that are sweeter more like dessert crepes, & they have the West Coast crepe which is savory, my sister & I both agree that it would be nice to have other savory options for the crepes also. The service from the hostess to the waitress, and the other staff were friendly, & helpful, with the fact that this was our first time the waitress was kind enough to give us time to look over the menu & make a decision on what we wanted. P.S. I ate a flower for the 1st time! It was a garnish on our plates. The only thing I regret, is that I didn't take pictures of our food.“

“I had made a reservation for what I thought was Water's Edge, but it turns out it was the Hyatt Lodge restaurant. Apparently, they share the same space, but Water's Edge only serves lunch. That was a bit confusing, especially since no employee was there to greet and seat us. So be aware of that. There were only two waiters, which was fine since it was not very crowded, but it took a few minutes before either of them acknowledged our presence. After that all went well. The food was delicious, waiter service was fine, and dining on the outside patio by the small lake was quite nice on a perfect weather day. A table umbrella to shade us from the sun would have been nice, though. I will definitely dine there again.“
