“I had my nieces at MTG Park playing. We walked across the street to GG. Ordered hot dogs and fries and of course each got a cone. The workers were very nice and patient with the girls. The food was yummy. Great place to end our day!“

“Zorba’s in Orland is the best gyros in town! The crisp it up right around the edges keeping the meat flavorful! The sauce is very homemade and fresh. If you’re looking for Greek items to have at home the store they have inside has what you’re looking for!“

“did you know salonica is open at 7 AM? i found out today, and im so happy to share it. when you get here early enough, there are window seats galore (and so we snagged one), from which you can watch all of the finance bros walk to the metra and professors going in the opposite direction, from the station to campus. kids and parents too, biking on the way to daycare.. it’s an endless flow of morning traffic. we each ordered a side of hasbrowns (only vegan option.. sorry y’all) and they were FANTASTIC. with all the works, seasoned into oblivion (there was literally every condiment you can imagine on the table). with some freshly squeezed OJ? you already know… something about being up so early and eating such a simple but happy meal reminds me of being a kid. i think i valued time more, but in a different way—not in the adult way, full of order and ideally to structure and optimize the day (and feeling anxious and awful if things don’t go to plan). more so with excitement and anticipation, wanting to do and see everything! even seconds felt longer, fuller. i was with a friend who was leaving, so with this in mind i tried to soak up all the time i could. i wish people never left, but there they were in front of me and far away, walking through the window frame without casting a second look. what a place for a goodbye, hm?“

“my husband had a taste for chicken I wanted a gyro so we went to Athens to get a gyro while we were there he noticed that they had a fried chicken dinner so we ordered it unfortunately being late in the day they were out of chicken but the owner went to the supply store and got the chicken took our oder and delivered it for free and the chicken was delicious would recommend Athens to everyone great service“

“I have been trying to find a good gyro place since Alexander's on southwest highway closed. Most of the places sell something that looks like it came from Sam's Club family pack gyros kit. Mickey's is one of the best places I have come across in my travels throughout the U.S.“

“I grew up in Tinley Park and the Olympic Star has been a staple in our city forever. I'm now out of state but every time we're back in the Chicago area we go to the Star. Everything is phenomenal in this restaurant and the Chicken Soup is to die for, it's so good we went home with 3 qts of it to take it home out-of-state“

“If you like Ducks back then you will like this place. Excellet tortas and Italian Beef plus Gyros too...They got fatter fries than skinny McDonald ones. They also have Horchatta both as a drink and slushy must try.

“I always get the steak sandwiches and I love them. I've had the Gyros and they're delicious. I bought the pan of mixed chicken freaking g delicious and scalding hot and I just recently had the hoagy sandwich and let's just say I'm a loyal customer. The food is delicious and the owners are great. The thugs that come in though just grosses me out.“

It's a hidden gem.
I also loved their grilled chicken sandwiches, Italian beefs w. Hot peppers&nacho cheese, Mexican chicken dinner.

“Needs more combo meals food is already high and I have to but everything separate 15 to 20 dollars a person is a lot for fast food and sometimes my order is not right because of one of the guys that's either in drive thru or counter doesn't listen to well or he acts like he doesn't understand what you are saying. Gyro plate doesn't come with two pitas . Like most places“
