“I had the flautas de papa and Joya smoothie. Wow! I mean it was a good portion and very very delicious. Be aware that the prices are a little steep. You’ll get sticker shock when you see the menu. But when you think about it, supporting a small, local business, that is planet conscious, it’s worth the extra money. Their straws are biodegradable and the menu is all vegan. The staff is so nice, too. A must visit for sure!“

“This hidden gem serves the Campus of the University of Chicago and those of us who come in off the street! My parents (both 81) and I came in for lunch. We couldn’t find it at first, but a nice young man happily told us where it was. Inside one of the campus buildings.

We had croissant sandwiches, with side salads and Topo Chico. There was beautiful outdoor seat - most of which was all ready bustling with interesting people (great people watching) enjoying the beautiful weather, wine and fellowship with a beautiful Frank Lloyd Wright house (I believe) right next to them.“

“I JUST ordered about an hour ago from DoorDash and I haaad to get on here to let y’all know. I only got to take a picture of the Ropa Vieja Beef Bowl because I practically inhaled everything else right before. The Beef Baco is good, Picadillo Egg Roll was yummy as well. The Chorizo Egg Roll was BOMB. And the Ropa Vieja Beef Bowl is just too good. Meat is tender and all the flavors work really well together. Can’t wait to try even more from here!“

“We had our wedding celebration here in June, and it was absolutely perfect - thanks to Mary Ann! Mary Ann was so helpful with coordinating the day, and incredibly kind through the whole process! She is so thorough with planning, and making sure everything was to our liking!
The day of our celebration everything was amazing and went smoothly! The food and drinks were a huge hit, and the entire staff was incredibly kind! We were also happy with the gluten free options and dietary accommodations !!

You are always greeted with a smiling face and the smells alone will keep you coming back for more. The pizza here is consistently incredible. Perfectly thin crust, just the right amount of sauce, and loaded with toppings that can fit any craving. With the number of years, I have been visiting, I have tried almost everything on the menu from their pizza to their pastas to their appetizers and I keep on going back. “First time Golden Bear in Lansing. The food and service was great. However, when I checked my bank account I was charged $9.98 more then the amount on the receipt I received from the register. When I went back the manager was very nice & helpful. She refunded the $. The restaurant receipt had the same amount. I pulled up my bank account & showed her the amount from my bank. We both thought it was so strange! Maybe the register malfunctioned? Again the manager was awesome!“

The food and drinks are great (obsessed with the lavender lemonade they make in the summer), the bar itself is very cool and historic and their outdoor patio is dog friendly. My husband has done the distillery tour for his bachelor party and thought it was really fun. Highly recommend!“

“Growing up I lived on the west coast so Hawaiian Pizza is a thing for me. It's delicious ?. My kids of course do the pepperoni or sausage lol. I also do the sausage, peppers, onions, mushrooms again very good. Their giant pretzel is soft amd yummy. My sons and family love the atmosphere there, sports games playing on screens, outdoor seating in the summer, definitely a family friendly spot. Danny's is totally a whole vibe. ??“
