“Omg I ordered the Jerk Chicken pasta and Shrimp dinner with macaroni and cheese, and sweet potatoes. Don’t judge me I’m a legit foodie and Chef. My mother ordered the Catfish Steak dinner with green beans, and macaroni and cheese. For dessert we both had the peach cobbler, and i also had a banana pudding. When I say the Jerk pasta was amazing so spicy and creamy. It was the perfect sauce to noodle ratio. The Chef put so much love in that dish. The pasta was so good I couldn’t stop eating the pasta and didn’t even eat the chicken on top. My mother said the fish was the best she had in a long time. She said the fish was fresh , and as well as the Shrimp. The dessert was amazing. Is somebodies Big Ma in the kitchen cooking? The food was worth every penny and I will be back the best $80 I ever spent on food, drinks, and dessert. Five stars I would give 6 if I could. As a chef and caterer your business was on point with flavors, and presentation, and technique. I love to support my fellow black businesses. “OMG, you simply must have the Greek half-chicken! It is baked fresh while you wait. It comes out piping hot. The spice combination is so incredibly savory. It comes with fresh vegetables, feta cheese cubes, and a generous mound of seasoned rice. The rice helps soak up the delicious sauce. You won't want to miss a drop. Bring a big appetite, and be patient. It takes a while. Wow!“

“An excellent experience for our first visit!!! Plenty of parking, greeted immediately upon entering and guided to a booth. The menu has a HUGE amount of selections and large portions too!!! Can’t wait to try out more for future breakfast and lunch visits. Our waitress? Samantha was very attentive to our needs and checked on us several times during our visit. She did things for us that we normally have to request at other restaurants. A clean and inviting atmosphere!!! The owner is down to earth and knows what diners want. “This is a favorite local chain of mine that makes legit Nashville hot chicken and serves up southern sweet tea to go with it. You can save the trip to Nashville to get hot chicken and stop in here! The medium spice is savory with a hint of heat and it goes up quick from there! The tenders are a great way to get a variety of heat if you want to sample the levels!“

“I have breakfast here at least 2-3 days per week. The food is excellent, all homemade and not greasy at all. Their fruit is fresh and delicious. They go above and beyond with service and kindness especially Ruta. She always has a smile on her face which I am sure isn't always easy at 7:30am. Their portions are twice as large as many of their competitors for the same price and infinitely more delicious without all the grease. A must try in the western and southwestern suburbs.“

“Service was good. I really like their coffee bar menu. That isn’t something you find typically in sit down breakfast spots. I had the cheddar grits and fried green tomatoes. I’m not a vegetarian, but they do have a decent choice of meatless options as well. Refommended.“
“Absolutely delicious desserts. Anything you get is super sweet and filling. Loved the ice cream and the little waffles dish. They are also very efficient in making everything fast. The only downside is, seating is not comfortable. Inside the store there are only benches and outside is a limited seating during a limited time of the year. So being an ice cream place, you would think they will make it inviting for their customers to enjoy their ice cream before it melts. Other than that inconvenience, I would say this is a very nice dessert place.“
