“I love La Delicia!!! I mainly go for their strawberry agua frescas and elote in a cup—hands down the best corn in town 🤭 The prices are super fair and the staff is always so kind. My kids love the ice cream, and I really appreciate that they’ll have cartoons on the TV when you sit in with kids. Such a family-friendly place. Highly recommend!“

“My grandson ordered a small sundae and I ordered the same thing only a medium. They both were the same size only the medium was more expensive. When questioned about it they said that's the way it is. Very weird. The ice-cream was good tho.“

“You would think with a name like "Candy and Cake" that the desserts would be awesome. Had the banana cream pie and it was made from dehydrated bananas and they were still crunchy. The sandwiches we ordered were great.“

“This is THE best DQ in the Kankakee area in my opinion. The one on Wall St is a nightmare everytime. So I go to this one on maple st now. Have have perfect service every single time I’m glad we still got one great DQ left. Thank you to all whom work here you guys are awesome.“

“Let me tell you about THIS parlor! Not only is the team the friendliest groups of smiles put together but they make that little space feel like i just pulled up to the club to meet up with my besties!! Talk about NEIGHBORHOOD! “They let me change my order at the window from ice cream sandwich to fully bar. Due to my roommate getting sick and flushing teeth in toilet in accident. Realized he would not be able to chew his favorite treat. They were very sweet about the whole thing. That's good service!“
