“I had a great time at this lovely little restaurant last night. I was so excited to try it and I love French food. We ordered almost every appetizer and they were all fantastic. My favorites were the venison steak tartare, and the salad lyonnaise. I had the duck for my entree and it was incredible. My friends had the steak tartare and the sausages as their entrees and they were super happy. Wine was also awesome. I can't wait to go back and try more.“

The way in which the fabricating of the chocolate is controlled in such a richly authentic way won me over. My granddaughter loved the samples that we were given. So many delicious options that I just keep coming back. They also have a modern, but warm atmosphere that is delightful. This place is clearly a hidden gem and a must try!“

“Gluten free choices which were great! I enjoyed the mixed berry French toast. There was 3 pcs of French toast topped with fresh fruit, strawberries, blueberries, and bananas. Coffee was hot and served in a pitcher at the table. Very cheery place with good vibes. Comfortable. Everyone was pleasant and greeted me.

“After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer. “what a great coffee shop!! I am visiting from Portland, OR and obviously have an obnoxious pretention about coffee... Vigo coffee is absolutely great. I've been looking for a good coffee shop to work from in oak park and this exceeds expectations. the coffee is SO GOOD, and I absolutely love that this coffee shop is set up as the most comfortable co-working space + art gallery (?!??!!). as if it couldn't get any better, we absolutely love the authentic Mexican culture and flavors available here. really great selection of savory and sweet baked goods that will keep you full and focused all day. I will definitely be back here to work whenever I'm in oak park.

She speaks Albanian & Greek and excellent English. The husband stays back in the kitchen creating the excellent food and the wife serves patrons out front. If you're not on a particular diet, and just want some good old-fashioned wholesome diner-type food, this is place.“

“We started with the daily smoothie and the base was mixed berries. I love smoothies but don’t get them often because places just don’t do it right, but I was impressed with this one. The iced vanilla latte also hit the spot to the point where we actually got one to go. For food we split the smashed avocado toast with the addition of smoked salmon on top. I really liked this, and it was actually my favorite item we ordered, loved the chili crisps and everything bagel seasoning. My friend Alec got the Chicken Caesar Wrap which was good, but it could’ve used a little more chicken. The west coast breakfast burrito I liked more, but it was kinda on the salty side from the hash brown which was the only down side, but this thing is freaking huge and if I were to come back, I would get the smashed toast and those drinks.“
