“My God, this sangwich will make you feel that things might just be ok and forget for a moment what a dumpster fire of a time we live in. The lamination! Look at these luscious layers of pastry hugging eggs and some crispy plancha sausage! Look at them! Few things are perfect or capable of changing your life. I ordered a capp with an extra shot of espresso, oat milk, and their seasonal apple spice syrup. Perfectly balanced (I even forgot to ask for it half-sweet, like I usually do, but my coffee still tasted like coffee, not like straight sugar 🙌🏼 - much appreciated!!)

Coffee was quick to come up, and there’s plenty of street parking in this sparse industrial neighborhood.

“Very clean and cute place. We tried some milkshakes, boba refreshers, iced coffee and mini pancakes and EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious!“

“As always Chef Paco and his amazing team never disappoints. EVERYTHING on the menu is phenomenal so you can’t go wrong. My favorite dishes are the Fiesta Mole and Tacos Chetumal. His Tortilla Soup is also the best in the world. Highly recommend this place for the food, ambience and of course Chef Paco! Oh My God!!“

“This is such a unique spot. The set up is beautiful, inviting and gives a cozy feel. Great place to work or just vibe with a friend. I tried the Abrazos latte, it really does taste like a tortilla. The cinnamon bun muffin was ok, it was dry, the topping helped a but wouldn't get it again.“

“Chose to come here because it’s a halfway point between my friend’s and I’s homes, and it was such a pleasant experience! The atmosphere was very nice and calm, the smells were divine, and the service was excellent! We got to chat with the owner for a second and she was absolutely darling! I had a strawberry matcha latte with brown sugar boba and I know in a week I’ll be craving it again. 10/10 will be coming back again!“

“This is my first time here, and I have to say I absolutely love the atmosphere! It is so pretty inside and it's so clean. The staff was super nice.
The only negative thing that I could say was that it did take a long time to get the food even though we were the only ones in there and for what we bought it was really expensive. I thought we were going to get these like full sandwiches and they were these little tiny bitty appetizers.
We also ordered drinks the refreshers and they were so good. I highly suggest to get them with water not with lemonade because they are very sweet. But my first time there and I definitely will be going back. Also you can sign up for points and earn free food.

“We loved talking with the helpful man behind the counter. He took the time to explain the various chocolates that they sell. The way in which the fabricating of the chocolate is controlled in such a richly authentic way won me over. My granddaughter loved the samples that we were given. “I love love love this place. It’s a gem on the Westside of Chicago. I love their beverages (hot and cold), their sandwiches, their paninis, their friendliness! I love what BeeLove represents and what it offers the community.“

“I usually come here once a week when I work from home. I live a block down, so this is a very convenient place. I sometimes get a sandwich or empanada or an iced coffee. But, what I get every
time is their deserts. Frankly, I do not have a sweet tooth, but this place is the exception for that. I always get their tres leches cake and that is my least favorite desert usually, so this is saying something. They had a horchata tres leches cake last year that was SO GOOD and I'm really hoping that comes back soon. They also have different types of cheesecakes (which is my fav desert) so I've tried those too. They usually switch them around, so depending on when you go, they may have them or not. I've tried the Oreo and Reese's Pieces, which were good, but they had a lemon meringue cheesecake and man.... sooooo gooooood. Haven't seen it there in a few weeks, so I'm hoping it makes a comeback soon. I've only eaten in there a couple of times and it's a good vibe. Staff is super friendly and I don't have anything to complain about.“

The husband-and-wife team are so amazing, we go out of our way once a year to when we are in Chicago to go there for breakfast. Mimi in the front of the house remembers what we like to the person for all five of us. The prices are on the low side and the portions generous. Two things stand out though the repartee with Mimi tops the list, but the nuanced flavors bring back memories of how my mother made it. Eating here is more than getting a great breakfast at a good price, it’s a step back, in time and attitude. It is a full-on experience. I don’t have to wave down a waiter for coffee or water continuously. Instead I have it at my fingertips at my leisure. I don’t know why more restaurants do this. The servers are always great. “After driving past Elijah's in the mornings for the last few months I finally decided to stop in and give it a try (you should always try to support local). I ordered a large Black Coffee with a shot of espresso, I even mentioned to the guy making my coffee that it was my first time here and he was polite and said Welcome. (When was the last time you heard someone say welcome?) The girl behind the counter asked if I wanted anything else and I asked If they made there Scones fresh and she said yes we bake daily. I bought a variety to bring to the gig for the crew this morning. My Coffee was made exactly the way I make it at home and the Scones were still warm and made me feel like I was on Arthur Avenue at Morrone's pastry in the Bronx waiting in line for them to come out of the oven fresh. I must give Elijah's Coffee 5 stars today and recommend it to everybody and I will now be a customer. “I placed an order to go. Was informed that there was a $3.00 to go charge and a gratuity would be added on the order cause it was over $100.00. After I checked the receipt, $18.35 was the gratuity. I thought it would be maybe $5.00. Very disappointed. Had I known this, I would have come into the restaurant and ate there had them provide me with service. I am a senior and that was definetly not right. I've already instructed my family not to get me gift card from Maple and Jam.“
