“Started coming here with my husband and his family and Kabul Kabob has become a huge favorite of mine. All the food is so delicious, the owners/staff lovely and welcoming. I always leave so happy after eating here!My husband and I were able to come for iftar where there was a buffet and aH everything was seamless and organized. Each of the dishes from what I saw was refilled as needed. You do need to make reservations for the buffet, and based on the quality of food and service, my husband and I feel the price is fair for the all you can eat buffet.Love this place, wish nothing but the best but continued success for it. Always looking forward to returning iA :)“
“I been going to this restaurant for a while now and let me tell you this the food In number 1 in Illinois the mansaf is out of this planet it’s made in the traditional way and more importantly it’s made with love this family owned restaurant have pride in what they do and that’s why it makes it special place and a special experienceThank you for always being grate much love“
“I usually really enjoy this place and I have no problems with waiting for good hot foodBut what I do have a problem is with saying you make everything fresh and today I get what seemed like a microwaved bowl or something but out of the 4 times I came 3 times the food was fresh n steaming hot but today I was disappointed“
“I come here rather often for the fahsa, which is pretty consistent. I typically ask the server to make it spicy. The two menu items we tried for the first time this visit was the biryani which was a big hit, along with the meat pies which I believe are the first items on the menu (I forgot the name). I would highly recommend this yemeni food, I just wish the service was a little better as that is the only reason I'm giving them a 4/5 star review“
“WOW...it's some of the best fast food. And the staff is soooo amazingly friendly and helpful. Those fries are fire. The sandwich is amazing. I will so be back and be back often. There isn't much seating, but I'd go even if I had to sit in the car to eat.“
“I am a Puerto Rican muslim who has been searching for a halal Spanish restaurant from NJ, CHI, PR, and Fl and could not find one! Until I stumbled across Sazones. I initially thought this was too good to be true and that I was going to be disappointed, and I was WRONG. Although they did not have my favorite Pollo giusado, their rotisserie chicken, steak, sweet plantains, tostones and my favorite alcapurria made up for it.“
“Honestly these are the best shawarma in the neighborhood I love them anyone I take here always has nothing but good things to say about the food, the atmosphere is very inviting and the staff is very nice. I recommended the food to everyone that visits Chicago. I love it.“
“Hamdullah One of my favorite places to eat! The hummus!!!! The best … So tasty. The service… so genuine and loving. The food …soooo yummy and nutritious. Peace be upon the cooks and the preparers. Highly recommended.“
“Let me say you made my Daughters baby shower perfect !Starting from the order to the pickup everything went 100 % perfect , from her warm welcome to the attentive care given on packing the cake for my trip to Nebraska .The fear of Flash freezing the cake to throwing it out everything went perfect. Just letting you know you can flash freeze a cake for travel. The cake was just perfect not too sweet and extremely light and fluffy delicious flavor. Thank you.“
“Stopped in for carryout. Ordering was a bit confusing. We did try the brisket, and it was delicious. The sides were just OK (lots of rice, a few potatoes, garlic, some type of tomato salad, corn, and Cole slaw). They also give you lots of sauces. I would go back and dine in.“
“Jerusalem Cafe is like a cheat code for affordable, nutritious food in Oak Park. It's just about the cheapest place to get tasty salmon in downtown OP, and all the food is reliably delicious. I've lived here long enough to remember the restaurants that used to occupy this space, and I'm glad Jerusalem Cafe has stuck around.“
“First time going today. Took the family because I saw they served food for kids too. They have a deal 2 for $10 chicken sandwich so we tried that out. Bought large fries which was enough for all of us plus some, Mac n cheese for my son and another chicken sandwich for my daughter. Paid under $40 with drinks. I tried the hot chicken sandwich with coleslaw and I’ll tell you what, it’s very good on par with fry the coop, and I love fry the coop, the fries were crispy and seasoned I had them mild, also great flavor. Mac n cheese was delicious. I can say that this is one of my go tos for now on for hot chicken sandwich, this and fry the coop. I highly recommend this place. The owners were nice as well. Great service. I’ll be back.“
“Came here for the first time and made the hour long drive from Chicago. I got the chicken shawarma wrap and a beef shawarma in a pita. The chicken shawarma was very good and had lots of flavor. The fires were fresh and crispy. The beef, however, had no flavor at all and was super bland. Was disappointed with the beef. I’d recommend the chicken to anyone.“
