“Had a decent time here. The food was pretty good - the seasoning on the chicken was a bit salty for my taste tho. Most things here are self service and similar to most fast food places. Tried their chicken hot and was content with the spice level - definitely looking forward to trying their other hotter spice levels.“
“Koshary - very flavorful rice based dish, twist of added macaroni was surprisingly good, fried onions toppings was pretty good too. Although the fried onions didn't seem freshly fried Spicy fried eggplant - Very unique dish with beautiful flavors. A wetter roasted eggplant, goes well with pita bread. Eggplant is super soft and juicy inside, with slightly spicy toppings, wrap it in a hot fresh pita is perfect. Molakheya - chicken is very soft and tender, with seasonings well preserved in the meat. It comes with chicken vegetable soup, interesting sour flavor. Baklava - it's perfect. You can feel the layers crunchy and melt in your mouth with right amount of sweetness Staff are very friendly!“
“Excellent food. Lots of vegetables. Noodles are hand pulled and everything is fresh and prepared daily. Service is flatware and the place is spotless. Also great value for the amount of food you get. Highly recommend. Owner is also super nice!“
“Cafe 53 in Chicago is an absolute gem and deserves every bit of praise it receives. I can't express how much I love this place! The moment you step inside, you're greeted with a cozy and inviting atmosphere. It's the perfect spot for a relaxed meal, catching up with friends, or enjoying some quiet time with a book. Now, let's talk about the food. The menu at Cafe 53 is a delightful mix of flavors and options. I've tried several dishes here, and each one has been a culinary masterpiece. Whether it's their delicious breakfast offerings or their mouthwatering sandwiches and salads for lunch, every bite is a taste sensation. And don't get me started on their coffee - it's the perfect pick-me-up to start your day. What truly sets Cafe 53 apart is their exceptional customer service. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready with a warm smile. They make you feel like a valued guest with their prompt service and genuine hospitality. I've been a regular at Cafe 53 for quite some time now, and it never disappoints. If you haven't been here yet, I highly recommend giving it a try. It's a must-visit spot in Chicago for anyone who appreciates delicious food, a welcoming ambiance, and fantastic service. I can't wait for my next visit!“
“The food was absolutely amazing! It was so hard to choose what to get with such a big variety to choose from that all looked and sounded amazing!! We definitely had the wings that were soooo sooo delicious and some other stuff that also was amazing! Took about 40 minutes to get there but so worth the trip and will be a regular spot to visit! Can’t wait to come back!!!“
“Sinya just catered the 175th anniversary celebration dinner for our church. They were extremely helpful in the ordering and preparing phase...reassuring us that the portions identified in the group menu were plentiful...and I must say they really were! The food arrived on time, still hot, and delicious! We couldn't have asked for a more. My husband and I order from Sinya regularly for ourselves but this experience prompts this review for folks looking to serve large numbers of people.“
“WOW...it's some of the best fast food. And the staff is soooo amazingly friendly and helpful. Those fries are fire. The sandwich is amazing. I will so be back and be back often. There isn't much seating, but I'd go even if I had to sit in the car to eat.“
“Moti Modern Indian Kitchen is bringing flare to Lincoln Park! I think their Modern Fusion Pizza restaurant is a great idea for this location. It's fun, fast casual Indian fusion that won't break your bank account. Great for the neighborhood and DePaul students! We tried the Sweet Chili Momo's steamed dumplings tossed in sweet chili sauce with green peppers and onions. They were nice and flavorful and I loved the texture. We also tried the Tikka Masala Curry with diced and marinated chicken in a spiced creamy curry served with a side of yellow rice. Super creamy and delicious and the chicken just melted in your mouth. And finally we tried the Masala Elote Pizza, palak pizza, and pepperoni pizza. All were delicious but the masala elote was our favorite! So many delicious flavors and textures on this pizza my taste buds were very happy! We washed everything down with freshly made mango lassis! So delish! I would highly recommend this restaurant to all my friends and family!“
“Trying Afghan food for first time…. and I love it. Roasted Eggplant with tomatoes & garlic yogurt . Tender not mushy & bitter, definitely for garlic lovers, then dumplings that reminded me of russian plemieni finally traditional Afghan rice with cinnamon & raisins ( not sweet at all) with veal. We finished with Afghan milk tea for dessert . Food in this place is delicious , but decor is minimalistic & basic. Very reasonably priced, friendly service. If you in area worth stopping by.“
“Cafe Alif is just a find! Their lagman is simply divine - rich in flavor, juicy and very tasty. Be sure to try it! But that's not all - the service here is at the highest level. Orders are processed very quickly, and the staff is always friendly and ready to help with any questions. The atmosphere of the cafe is also pleasant and cozy, an ideal place for a pleasant lunch or dinner with friends or family. Overall, this cafe definitely deserves 5 stars for its exquisite lagman, excellent service and wonderful atmosphere.“
“Huda was my server for my birthday dinner here. She was very attentive and friendly. She recommended a Moroccan iced tea and it did not disappoint! The environment is not only breathtakingly beautiful, but so much fun! The food was delicious and the entertainment kept a smile on my face. Dancing with the staff was by far my favorite part! I will definitely be returning!“
“Came across Mr Kabab on a foodie critic,, this surpassed my expectations! The atmosphere was clean, accommodating & price friendly! The Owner Sam, takes pride in his food and business. I enjoyed his friendliness and stance on his food methodology. The Gyro sandwich was the best I've had in the Chicagoland area. The Gyro was lean & tender not greasy. This sandwich wasn't heavy almost wanting you to have seconds! The owner takes pride in his business & quality in food. If he's reading this, thank you for an amazing experience!“
“The best chickens ever eaten in Chicago are here. A very kind and sincere person serves here. From today, if I want to eat halal kfc style chicken, I will definitely come here. Thanks for the sweet chickens. If you want to eat halal chicken, this is the right place. such sweet, tender and delicious chickens. Thank you very “
“Our experience was beyond delightful! We’ve been here for the first time today for dinner, was received by a very polite and friendly staff who made our experience even better. She guided us through the menu and helped us pick the right items off it as per our taste preference. They were all very friendly and helpful. The food was 4/5 and the service deserves a 5.“
“Moti has such amazing variety of Indian fusion that they keep you interested in coming back. Their sauces are very Indian in flavor and we keep going.Vegetarian options: The paneer dishes are to die for!!! I also love their masala French fries!!!!“
“I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! I live close by so it's a good place to stop by and get lunch or early dinner. The owner is super nice whenever I stop by and he makes all of the food by order so it's always fresh! My go to is the chicken tostini, but I've had about all of the tostinis and tried the menemen. I can't say anything about the authenticity, but the taste is definitely there :)“
“What an amazing experience and dinner! It is a hidden gem. The rice is to die for. The chicken and beef were simply amazing. The spices and flavors are great. The pasta is good, but go with the half and half for the whole experience. Highly recommended!“
“All the food was amazing but definitely loved the chicken al pastor tacos. The restaurant is completely halal and also has a great selection of salsas to accompany the food. Highly recommend!Parking: There is a small parking lot in front of the restaurant with about a dozen spots“
“I recently dined at Turquoise café and restaurant in Chicago, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The food was decent, with their mix grill standing out as particularly tender and well-seasoned. However, I found their mezza platter to be just okay, lacking the appetizing factor I was hoping for. On the brighter side, their salads were fresh and delightful. Their Lahem Ajun is crispy and well baked. But what truly stole the show for me was their Arak; it was incredibly delicious and refreshing, adding a perfect touch to the meal.“
“Tiba is under new ownership as of a few months ago, and it is*very clear*. They've completely renovated the interior, their website is very well done - and best of all, the food is delicious and the service is great. I'm already planning on how many times I'm going to come back with my family. I really wish the new owners the best and thank them for a great dinner!“
“Absolutely phenomenal south Indian food. We came in to dine in but had to get it to-go due to an emergency. The staff was super accommodating and the Veg Thali (sampler platter) was absolutely divine. My friends got the Mutton Thali and Chicken Thali and said it is some of the best food they've had in Chicago. Spice level is definitely on the hotter side of restaurants I've been to but that made for a great meal. Incredibly affordable too. At ~$15 per person and plenty of tasty leftovers that keep well, I'll definitely be making a point to return soon.“
“I’ve seen this place on the google maps one year ago and forgot to go there. 1 week ago a was lucky to stop in this area and was so starving. I entered the restaurant, and there was a very polite lady meet me and served well. I ordered chicken kebab shawarma which I recommended to eat if you in rush and needs to go back to work faster. The food was so great and they also give a garlic sauce which goes fantastic with shawarma. What I did? I ordered again! Tasty!“
“Every dish is truly made like at home sprinkled with a lot of love and hard work. The food is so clean and flavorful. The owner of this place is super kind. The two women who works there are hardworking. I support this place 100% and I hope it attracts more costumers.“
“The atmosphere at Eggholic is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. The only downside is that the restaurant can get quite busy during peak hours, so be prepared to wait for a table.Overall, Eggholic offers delicious food, friendly service, and a welcoming ambiance. I will definitely be returning soon to try more of their menu offerings.he pricing is very reasonable, with most dishes ranging from $8-$12.Some popular dishes at Eggholic include their signature Eggy Bowls, loaded with eggs, cheese, meat, and veggies. The portion sizes are generous and perfect for sharing or taking home leftovers. Their French toast and pancakes are also highly recommended.“
“My Wife and I were blown away at how tasty the food was. Everything was very flavorful and well seasoned. And the prices were great for the portion sizes which were generous. My Fire Burger especially was a good full sized burger. And best of all everything was halal.Everyone working here was very polite and accommodating. They let us go into the back to wash our hands before we ate.The inside seating is very limited since this is a very small place. They did have an outside seating area so in the summer time there is more seating. They had an extensive menu including delicious Mexican food.“
“Restaurant Ambiance - clean, spacious, airy Service - 10/10 Food - Ordered pita wrap chicken. It was absolutely delicious. The sauces the chef gave were good but the shawarma was so good, it did not really need any sauces. It is important to me that the restaurant was HMS certified. If I am in Chicago again, I would I've to try their shawarma bowl!“
“Absolutely amazing Honey BBQ wings!!! 10 ⭐️ Stars all the way! Owner was super nice, we talked about real cheese vs what most places use, “cheese”... I tried the pizza, and it’s Phenomenal!! Go to Halal inn, because they care about the ingredients they make your food from!“
“I walk past Asada pretty much every day and decided today was finally the day to try it. It’s usually pretty crowded, but obviously Friday in the Loop is a ghost town. I settled on the barbacoa burrito and was really happy with my decision. It was a lot of food and tasty too. It wasn’t that expensive either. I’d highly recommend stopping by if you work in the Loop or just happen to be around.“
“Stop what you're doing and come get brunch here. Seriously. This was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Filling. Savory. And reminiscent of my travels throughout Eurasia and the Middle East. Step into this old school establishment and be greeted by the friendly staff and beautiful bar adorned with colorful bottles. Walk towards the back wall lined with bottles of wine to your table where the experience begins. The brunch is the main event. Get the Turkish tea, I like mine with a little sugar. Then dive face first into the enormous spread of good eats coming your way. Eggs, menemen (tomato eggs), house baked breads, veggies, kofta, varied cheeses and spreads...ugh I can't get enough. I left with a full belly and heart as we sat for an hour digesting, sipping tea, and having great conversation. Seriously do yourself a favor and visit this place before it becomes too popular of a spot. 5/5“
“I recently indulged in the Buffalo Chicken Sandwich at Hotspot Grill, and let me tell you, it's an absolute gem in the fast-food scene! While I haven't sampled their entire menu yet, I have full confidence in declaring this spot as a go-to for culinary satisfaction. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich is a taste explosion! The cooks are amazing ? and very accommodating making my food exactly how I like it …… yummyyyyyy.Thank you guys for making my dinners after a long 12 hour shift worth the drive each time.Much Love and God Bless ?️❤️??“
“I had an exemplary experience here, i went here for my iftaar and got amazed of great service by Aazam, Diksha, Umara and Abrar. They had been polite and humble throughout the time. As well the buffet has different and savoury varieties each days like Mandi, Dudh Dulari, Gajar Halwa, Chicken Tikka etc which is absolutely delicious. This has become my go to restaurant now so I would highly recommend this to everyone.“
“The ambiance and service at The Salaam are so beautifully designed. The servers were very courteous and made us feel very much appreciated. We felt very much cared for, while we had our dining experience. The food was tastefully seasoned, as well as cooked to bring ease to one's palate. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience.Vegetarian options: The veggie options were plentiful. Everyone in our party was able to eat and have plenty of options to choose from.Kid-friendliness: There is enough space where a child/dren won't feel cramped. They'll have the opportunity to experience cultural refinement while dining at the Salaam.Parking: We didn't experience any issues with parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is an elevator within the restaurant for those who need an elevator.Dietary restrictions: There are plenty of options to choose from. Possibly call in advance to assure that a particular allergy will not be met.“
“This is was a nice experience, when you walk in it gives you chipotle vibes. For us Muslims’ this is a halal mediterranean chipotle and it’s actually pretty good. Not the best mediterranean food but it’s really good if you want to take a quick lunch break. Great service.“
“Quesabirria is such an amazing gem in Chicago and the Pilsen neighborhood. Don't let Taco Bell fool you, this is the OG here. The owner is always here to take orders. Menu is very straightforward and delicious. There is indoor seating is minimal and when they sell out for the day, that's it so go early and get it when you can. The restroom is clean and they play some funky jams. We really love this place and hope they stay forever. Sitting here on a Sunday when they open at noon writing this makes it that much better!“
