Decided on a vacation week! Chose Berwyn due to its proximity to Chicago. Glad we did!

What a great community!

We stopped in around 5pm. Nice greeting! Quickly seated.

We started with the Bruschetta. Instantly knew we were in the right place! Grilled bread! Not to hard not to soft. Fresh ingredients, great flavor.

I chose the lamb chops. Holy Smokes! Best I’ve ever had and that’s saying something!! I don’t know how they did it!!?? Grilled! Breaded! Crunchy! Tender! Perfectly cooked. Broccoli perfectly! Served with potatoes that were a little crispy with big flavor!

My wife had the Crab Cake. It was huge! Loaded with crab and perfectly seasoned and fried. The sauce paired perfectly with this dish. She also had penne pasta in their Marsala sauce. Again, everything was fresh and amazing.

Ended it all with 2 desserts because why not!
Tiramisu….Amazing
Crème Brûlée…Amazing

We ate all over Chicago, this was our #1 favorite!

It was an early dinner before a show and we were allowed to take our time ordering and eating with no rush to turn our table. I recommend the Risotto with sausage and Lemoncello cake. Both were excellent. Ambience was old world with a table in the window at the street (b/c it was raining), but they have a delightful patio when weather permits which we'll try on our next visit. “Pablo, our waiter, was exceptional. During our first visit here, he warmly welcomed us and showcased impressive knowledge of the menu, even extending to items not listed. He encouraged us to customize our meal to our liking, and he certainly delivered! For starters, we chose the grilled calamari and Rockefeller oysters. The calamari was tender and impeccably cooked, steering clear of the typical rubbery texture. Opting for balsamic instead of oil was a perfect choice. The oysters were superb, not overwhelmed with cheese. I ordered the veal picatta from the menu, expecting a thin slab, but was pleasantly surprised by the generous portion size. The angel hair pasta complemented the dish well, although I could have done without the mushrooms – a personal preference, which I should've mentioned. Nonetheless, if you're a mushroom enthusiast, they give you plenty. My boyfriend ordered off-menu, enjoying the Zuppe di Pesce with shrimp, clams, extra calamari, and rigatoni Diablo style in red sauce. It was absolutely amazing and satisfied his taste without being overly spicy. To accompany the meal, I had a glass of the house Chardonnay, which was light and buttery. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't typically drink wine, enjoyed it. Our heartfelt thanks to Pablo and the owner/chef Giovanni for an outstanding dining experience, both in terms of the meal and the service.“

“We came here as a large group of 15 and the staff did a great job setting up tables outdoors quickly to accommodate us. The pizza itself was very good, and we all enjoyed the food. Our server seemed fairly new but was really putting in the effort, which we appreciated.

The only downside was that someone nearby was smoking, which took away from the experience since we had a pregnant guest and four very young children with us. The Smoke-Free Illinois Act applies to all outdoor eating and drinking areas, making it illegal to smoke there if employees are present to serve food which they were. The staff did not enforce this law which we felt they should have. We hope management can train their staff on this issue and that the staff enforce it.

All in all it was a good outing and the place has a lot of potential for families and groups.“

“Came here last night (2-23-25) a couple hours before close. We had a group of about 10 of us. The food quality is whats expected when you go to Olive Garden. Im writing this review specifically to speak on how great the service was. I believe our waiters name was Nick M (at least according to the receipt) and he was fantastic - especially for us being a big-ish group coming in a bit late in the night. Nick was attentive, courteous, funny, and kind. He checked up on us and didn't forget a single item for anyone or make a single mistake! He was also overall very kind, which our table needed as we have been going through a rough time.
