“Been a few years since I have been back to Weegee's and after taking one step it felt like old times. Vibe and atmosphere were awesome and couldn't have been better. Had a bartender named Jim kid was phenomenal, newer kid so I got a variety of drinks and he killed it. Will 100% be coming back soon no way am I going years between visits. “I highly recommend this place for a party. We had our daughters college graduation party here. The staff from Geno, Kristy. Jacob and Benny was absolutely amazing. Everything ran so smooth. The staff is so well trained in how to, not only make customers comfortable, but successfully assist in the excellence of the dining experience. The food has always been phenomenal, and always plentiful. It's a fabulous restaurant and successful because of great food, and owners that know how to treat guests.“

“Just had lunch with my neighbor Jorge and as usual was NOT disappointed! Chris was her usual friendly self. She’s always on the ball about pleasing people and sending them home happy and full. Rose was the waitress everyone dreams of. Patient and funny all in the same breath. If you haven’t been to LaVilla I highly recommend a visit. You will want to return again and again! I’d be there more often but I have no self control. 🤣“

“Went it for a loaded Bloody Mary. It was great. The people seemed really friendly (employees and customers)
The bathroom needs to be gutted. It’s terrible. I got water all over my self from something leaking. Looks like they have put 30 coats of paint over everything. It’s falling apart in there! The lighting in the bar was terrible. It literally feels like I’m in a dark basement. I would love to see this place get an over haul because it was great potential with the nice staff and great customers. Very very very welcoming!!“

“It was my 1st time there. I was there on Saturday, August 12th 2023 from 9pm to 1am.Bartender was very nice, Tony the karaoke DJ was awesome, nice atmosphereand people. Reasonably priced drinks and food was good. I recommend the chicken strips

Parking: Parking lot is a little small, but if you get there early enough you'll have no trouble finding Parking“

“The overall experience was impeccable. Macks and the rest of the staff know all too well what they’re doing, and were the best of company throughout my visit. I wanted a change with a subtle splash of color, and that’s exactly what I got! 1000/10 would recommend Macks for anything you want done!“

“I had made a reservation for what I thought was Water's Edge, but it turns out it was the Hyatt Lodge restaurant. Apparently, they share the same space, but Water's Edge only serves lunch. That was a bit confusing, especially since no employee was there to greet and seat us. So be aware of that. There were only two waiters, which was fine since it was not very crowded, but it took a few minutes before either of them acknowledged our presence. After that all went well. The food was delicious, waiter service was fine, and dining on the outside patio by the small lake was quite nice on a perfect weather day. A table umbrella to shade us from the sun would have been nice, though. I will definitely dine there again.“

“I always have a great time at Chet's. What a fun place, especially when the outdoor area is open and there is a band playing. Good place to watch a game, meet up with friends. Some food specials,too. You'll probably end up making a new friend or two. The beer is cheap and so are the ladies!“

“I make sure i come to this bar EVERY time I fly out of Chicago (5-6x/yr). The bartenders are awesome. It's also right off the blue line.

Tonight is the only bad experience I've had here: I convinced a friend from Chicago to meet me here and we waited for three hours to sing and nothing. Completely ruined the excellent reviews i was giving her about the place. The normal KJ is excellent. He's a little older and is really funny but the young guy with the glasses and long black hair sucks. I won't be back if he's here, which is so unfortunate. I tell EVERYONE about this place.“

“I was invited to a self-west airlines event from a friend to watch the bears game, so the bar was open outside of his normal operating hours. The food was catered which is why I have no stars selected for food, however, the bartenders were good at the way they prepare drinks and the atmosphere is very nice! I really love the large dance floor area that they have for those who may not be into sports. I believe they need a couple more TVs for events and this would be a great go-to spot at any time. Parking is limited around the club so be prepared to walk at least a half a block.“

“this special event for fireworks and buffet dinner was great -- food was very good- service and all the workers very accomodating ,, they did a great job -- plenty of grass area for kids to run around in --one never eats enough to justify the price of $80 plus 20% gratuity (plus cash bar ) at this but the value of the evening was worth it --- had a 5yr old , 3yr old and 1 yr old doing their first fireworks -they had the greatest time -- only thing i would suggest is raise the age limit to pay for a child to 7 or 8 years old -- a 4 or 5 year old for $ 30 is a bit much --- but the evening was great and the staff seemed to have all the kinks worked out ----“
