“Seen a FB post about it a Wed/Thur deal and the food looked good. I lived in Lyons for about 4 years and never heard about this spot until now. And definitely well worth it. Customer excellent and food delicious. Even w/o the sale price I truly believe this pizza is worth the value. This shall be our new go to!!! 1/4 of the pizza didn’t make it home🔥🔥🤫“

“Just called a few minutes ago at 8:52pm. They close at 9. I live a 3-minute walk away. The associate who answered the phone answered with, "Thanks for calling Paisans, we are now closed." I said, "Oh, what time did you close today?" They said, "9'o'clock." I asked, "Well, can I pick up two slices to go?" knowing they'd only have to reheat them and that I'd get there a few minutes before they closed. I work in a restaurant on the same block and know how it is to get a last-minute order before close, was trying to make it easy. The associate responded in a sarcastic tone, "No, we're sold out of slices, sorry." Immediately there was a burst of laughter from other employees in the background and then they hung up the phone before I could respond. I get it, 'fuck me' for trying to order last minute, but if it's a feasible order that doesn't take any real preparation and you're already telling people you're closed before you actually are, then ["F"ill in the blank]. Atop that, making jokes to deny service and gratify staff. Its dumb and pedantic infantile behavior that's only self-serving.“

Freddy’s is like I went back to 1990’s St.Calistus St.Joseph’s table. Stop in the Food Service and Establishment all live up to its promises. You can not have a bad meal here.

“I’m no stranger when it comes to Serbian food, since I have been to one Serbian restaurant and now 3 Serbian style cafés. The location can be easily missed if you don’t look closely, but it’s between J&C Modern Way Dry Cleaners and D’Pelos Salon. When you walk in, you order at the counter. They have 5 tables that you can sit at if you choose to dine in. I decided to go with some of their traditional bakery items like burek and mantije. I also ordered prosciutto cotto calzone. The owners were very nice and helpful. One of the owners offered me a piece of mantije to sample. Prices were extremely reasonable, they definitely give you a generous amount of food for your money.

-burek (meat) 5 - they have 3 different kinds, meat, cheese, and pizza. It had a flaky crust and the meat was very tender. If you have this for breakfast, it is filling but it’s good if you’re in a hurry.
-mantije (meat) 5 - kind of a miniature version of a burek but bite size. Crust is crunchy with a plentiful amount of meat in each piece. This was one portion.
-prosciutto cotto calzone 5 - you will have to be patient because it does take a little awhile to prepare and cook. I loved the big pieces of prosciutto and I like how the pesto just oozes out with each bite. The crust has a tasty, cheesy taste from the mozzarella.“

Now let's get to the food. Amazing crust on the stuffed pizza with tons of ingredients which tasted fresh and not a slice was left after the whole pizza was devoured by myself and the crew. The baked ravioli with cheese on top was also fantastic! Their garden salad had everything a garden salad should including radishes and the cannolis had a crunchy shell with tasty filling. “I walked into Paisans the location for your next Super Bowl Party experience. My pics will speak for themselves. I wanted their Chicken Chili soup but I was out voted. As you stroll through the party row get your line dance on. Service was top notch and cocktails well once you get one you will come back for another. The see through kitchen took me back to Italy.“

“I made an online order for 2 pastas and when my boyfriend brought the food home they didn’t add meatballs to the pasta. I called the restaurant and the guy who answered was extremely apologetic and super kind. I just wanted to write this review to praise this employee (we didn’t get his name, but he was working on Thursday May 1st around 4pm.) He went above and beyond and made sure to make it right. A lot of restaurants now a days have employees who simply don’t care and lack customer service and kindness, so it’s nice to have people who actually help out. We will continue to keep going back. “If you are in Franklin park and hungry, this is the #1 spot to stop in to get a bite to eat. Been here almost 23 years and still the best pizza/grill place in town since I moved here. Highly recommend! The chicken sandwich is my personal favorite and go to item.“
