“I decided to try Hawaiian Bros Island Grill for the first time today, and glad I did. I was met at the door by an upbeat employee who walked me through the selection of food and other items. I placed my order using their kiosk and waited for my take out. When I got home, I realized I was given the wrong order... so I called the restaurant and the manager picked up right away. They apologized for the inconvenience and said they were going to make it right.... and they ABSOLUTELY did. Not only did he give me compensation for my entire meal, he offered to deliver my order fresh off the grill personally. 30 minutes later he was outside of my house with my food and apologized again. He had proof of the compensation, as well as some extras in my bag for my troubles. I haven't had this level of customer service ANYWHERE in the past few years. Not only was the customer service outstanding, the food and portions are awesome as well. I can highly recommend the Davenport location of Hawaiian Bros Island Grill to everyone.”

“Sometimes there sold out of cookies. But that’s ight. The employees seem sad sometimes. But that’s probably because they have to deal with some crappy customers. They also have another option if there out of a cookie, or will compensate somehow. The one thing that I’m not a big fan of, is sometimes the store looks a bit dirty. Otherwise, the employees try their best, and the cookies are pretty good. If they have them.”

“I had a cancelation and had less than a week to order a cake for my daughter's birthday, and The Little Brown Box Delicatessen saved the day! Her birthday even fell on Memorial Day this year and they not only got it done for us, they let us come and pick it up on the holiday morning. 10/10 the cake was amazing, everyone loved it, and it looked absolutely beautiful! “I love this restaurant so much. I love the rotating menu with new seasonal dishes and fan favorites. I love the location in a historic home. I love the owner and staff and how hard they work to serve good food in a welcoming atmosphere. Some of my favorite dishes include the pickle soup, garlic salad, salmon sandwich, meatloaf, lobster bisque, Reuben sandwich, orange crepes, and (right now) the crawfish Étouffée. I love the local beer and wine selection as well as Mandy’s bloody marys. This is such a special restaurant and I’m so glad it is a part of our community.”
