“The lady working was so nice. She was about to close up for the day but stopped so my little guy could get a treat. Mom had an appointment so we hung out in the cafe and he loved his pudding. I didn't get the lady's name but thank you if you see this review. He loved it.“

“We had a great meal here—the food was definitely the highlight. Everything we ordered was flavorful and well-prepared. That said, we did have to wait a bit to be seated, and the restaurant was really busy, so the service felt a bit slow and scattered at times. It’s understandable given how packed they were, but it did impact the overall experience slightly. Still, if you're not in a rush and want a tasty meal, it's worth a visit.“

“Great atmosphere for studying, though there is a constant hum that's audible. Staff was friendly. Prices are extremely affordable. Best boba tea in Southern Illinois. Ice cream crepe was delicious. The yogurt drink was good as well. Both of the savory crepes weren't very good and they're not worth getting because it's mainly warmed up deli cold cuts.

“We just moved to the area & tried out this donut shop with our kids. It was a couple minutes before closing and the employee with brown hair gave us extras! So sweet - became our new favorite place! Plus the donuts were fresh & delicious even before closing time.“

“Excellent little local coffee shop right here in Carbondale near campus and exactly the kind of place you hope to stumble across on a rainy morning. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and full of personality without trying too hard. Service was genuinely kind and helpful from the moment I walked in, and you could tell this is a regular stop for a lot of locals and students alike.

The inside has a very relaxed vibe with plenty of seating whether you want to study, catch up with friends, or just enjoy some quiet time with a coffee. Prices were very fair, the drinks hit the spot, and I highly recommend grabbing one of their souvenir mugs while you’re there.

If I were a student here, this would absolutely become one of my regular spots. Visiting parents and travelers take note — this is a great little place to add to your radar when passing through Carbondale.“

“Just stopped at this Panera for some soup, sandwiches, and bagels. We got through the line and realized that neither of us brought our wallets?! So we asked the person at the window to cancel our order and he said not to worry about it and he would pay for it! What a sweet person. You deserve a raise! The world is a better place because of people like him.“

“I paid $13 for a small salad and a chicken salad sandwich. I don’t mind paying that much but when this is the amount of chicken salad that gets put on my sandwich….just ridiculous. Y’all should be ashamed to send this out of your establishment.“
